Nice video!! If you keep losing your lights, follow the wiring harness and check for spots that may be worn through or kinked. I have had many gremlins over the years on the old trucks and equipment on my little ranch. Good luck!! And thanks for sharing.

I had the switch go out on my 1995 Silverado brake pedal arm. Took a long time for me to figure that out.

Get a 12 vt test light to check both fuses/relays and connections-don'6 have to unplug everything. Just make sure the clip has a good ground.

On a typical trailer the brake light and turn light is the same bulb.

When you change to led on Chevy and gm trucks you need to change the flasher relay to led

I say do a video painting truck, but emphasize durability and low cost, still doing it right. My brother and his friend would do one or two cars a summer, fix up and re-sell. I did the bondo on my Honda Civic and he painted. Well worth it. Maybe we can't get the 99.95 special some guys used, they fixed it up and Earl would paint.

I have a utility trailer I mounted a motorcycle clamp on. I decided to upgrade the lights to LEDs, and in doing the wiring, I managed to pinch one of the wires creating a dead short. I didn't realize that had happened until a friend was following me one evening and told me the lights on one side of my car were not working. I had driven for months without one side of my car's running lights. Fortunately, I was driving a VW and the German over-engineering saved me from being totally dark. Each side of the running lights were fused separately. I found the short on the trailer, fixed it, and it's been fine since.

The mistake you made / overlooked on your truck lighting is converting from incandescent lights to LEDs. LEDs draw less current and the electrical system, relays, flashers detect the bulbs to be blown or the wrong amps etc and flash too fast etc. PROBLEMS. Solution use the proper incandescent original bulbs or convert flashers etc otherwise mix and match causes problems.

I probably could’ve given a hand as I was a crossing guard in grammar school.

My wife and I ride a HD Tri Glide. When we take a day trip, I have a small cooler I got from Publix grocery store. It will hold about 5 drinks of your choice and about half of the ice in my refrigerator freezer door thing. We will be gone for up seven hours and when I get home, the cooler will still have ice in it. As for the Yeti cooler, not my money.

Here's how I see it.....you're gonna clean out your cooler at the very least every couple days....why on earth do we need to spend $500 on a cooler to keep 50 cents worth of ice cold for an extra 24 hours? I just don't get it

Josh, the one thing I've learned about auto manufacturers. They make, what's supposed to be an easy job, a very difficult job. They don't want people to work on them. They want their own technicians working on them to make money. Changing a rear turn signal on my work van is a real job.

In case, nobody has told you, Josh, you have way, way too much stuff in your barndominium. Time to empty it out or do something with all that stuff.

Thanks Josh, love seeing the cows know it is time to move and waiting on you. I almost bet they would go straight across without the wire, but better safe than sorry. When looking for the truck weight I was saying 5K. (I drive on 03 Chevy 2500) and when I have to use it on my Dove field I have to remember the areas I drive for sub-soiling later because of the weight of the truck. I also need to get me one or two of the poly-wire spools. I have a anti-deer (3D) fence around my sunflowers and I'll need to wind that wire back up. Thanks again for the fun video.

Such a nice trail across that road. Might have seen the video of it being built but hard to recall. Nice place for a recommended video 10:30 😁 As for the truck.. Usually easiest to upgrade from the fuse box back. Used to do headlights and stero jobs and yes, it's included in the higher price.

Remember!! on domestic trucks the brake lights “ARE” the turn signals on the rear.. No orange or Amber on the rear of U.S trucks..

On those brake lights. Follow the wiring on the bed brake lights. They should be on the same harness

Those are common lights that truck requires independent turn and brake or u need a converter from independent to common

U can buy a little box that those style lights go in

Edison Motors utube channel is working on a ev conversion kit for trucks. They replace the engine with a cat 6 cyl generator, electric axels, batteries and a fuel tank for extended range. It also replaces a backup emergency generator and solar battery storage. Also working on a solar hybrid refrigeration trailer loaded with panels. Any good news on beef availability yet? Dam monopolies take 60% of every retail dollar vs paying growers 40%. That's the result of targeted food safety bs requirements. Same farmer feeds his family is enough inspection for me. Also not being finished in a mountain of manure feedlot.

I'm not aware of any sticker or I.D. plate on a vehicle that has the vehicle's actual weight stamped/marked. What it shows is the vehicles GVWR, which (as I understand it) is the maximum weight the vehicle AND load/fuel/etc... is rated to hold.

Thought you were an electrician in the Air Force?
