However, he was asked a direct closed question which only required a yes or no answer, and Brock turned it into an open question by doing the politician thing by dancing around the question. I know it wouldn't make sense for him to say he doesn't like it, given that it's his, potentially, only real career path depending on what USADA say.

+fritztheraven2 When the term "wrestler" has so many connotations behind it in this day and age, a simple yes or no answer would not have been sufficient. Adam was not asking if Brock enjoys amateur wrestling or if Brock enjoys pro-wrestling (scripted competition)- so Brock gave an answer that could not be twisted.

Agreed. Adam is new to this interview stuff though, and the combination of Lesnar and Heyman is as intimidating as they get. He can go toe to toe with everyone else. He didn't buckle too bad anyway, he did a fine job. Doesn't come worse for an interview than a non cooperative Lesnar and a spiteful Heyman haha

Adam's questions were really good. Good job man.

Watching all the interviews with Lesnar, Adam did the best. He maintained his composure, asked some really good questions, and was able to keep the banter.

would be nice if he stepped out of character for a moment for this interview and talked like a real person

People saying this interview has awkward written all over it, Adam honestly did much better than I thought he would, not knocking on Adam at all its more so it really is not easy to interview Brock and Heyman, so with that in mind I think Adam really held his own. Nothing too surprising from the interview itself, Brock pretty much gave exactly what I expected but was still pretty interesting nonetheless.

HHH told Stone Cold on his podcast that "kayfabe is dead". So in a way, a sect of WWE has already accepted that, we ALL know what kayfabe is, it's not really like we're "giving it away" anymore.

How SHOULD you book matches? How SHOULD characters be portrayed? I'm not talking just to satisfy a target audience of six year-olds (no offense to any six year-olds reading), I'm talking legit creating the BEST PRODUCT POSSIBLE that would satisfy even the most anal smarks. I'm talking conceivably, THERE IS a BEST POSSIBLE ROUTE. The question is, how do you take it? Apparently, WWE just sucks ever since John Cena came in, I guess somehow that was the tolling of the bell for all that made wrestling a pop culture phenomenon. That seems to be some people's view, anyways, because a lot of people say the PPVs this year have sucked ass and whatnot, minus a few true standout matches. I'm just saying, knowing what kayfabe is, is just like seeing the inside of a watch for the first time and seeing each of the individual components that make it work. I'm one of those guys that wants to know ALL ABOUT how it works, so that I can understand it and make my own bad ass version. So everyone and their mother may know Kayfabe is dead, but to me, that still does not spoil it for me. Because, as you see from Randy Orton, real moments still happen all the time.
