That looks delicious! We used to love a salad similar to yours at a restaurant called Sweet Tomatoes. They put cashew pieces in it- so good.

We love this salad too. It's delicious. I don't steam my veggies though. It's better to us raw. I use the same dressing as you but I add a pack of ranch dressing mix in with it. You've got to try it Catherine. It's so Tasty. Enjoy your Weekend. Love From your longtime Indiana Friend.

I started watching for the one pot meals, casseroles and crock pot recipes, but I am falling in LOVE with your salads. Oh my goodness! Thank you, Catherine! 😋

Just an idea, I add my bacon right before serving, keeps it crispy and not soggy! I also use craisins and pecans! I also use about 1/2 as much sugar and about 1/3 cup of white wine vinegar to the dressing! Not trying to knock yours at all I am going to try your recipe tomorrow, just letting you know some other options! Thanks for sharing Catherine!!💕💞

......I was going to suggest using less sugar, and also adding white wine vinegar ( or even lemon juice) to the dressing recipe.... I agree about the bacon, I wouldn't add that until the dressing and vegetables were combined, then gently fold that in. I was also thinking that Asparagus, and green beans , would be good with this dressing, and the red onion and bacon.

I like the fact that the veggies are softer but still keep their crunch. But if y'all like them raw the you do you.

Yum yum yum. I add 2 TBSP of vinegar to my dressing. Makes a huge difference. Hope you’ll try it.I also add a handful of raisins.

I do the same with the vinegar and raisins... I just use raw broccoli,oh and I add roasted sunflower seeds. Good stuff!🤗

Love this salad. I usally don't find it with califlower but i will use it now. Not much on bacon but will try turkey bacon or my veggie bacon I like to call facon bacon. What a cool summer salad. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas. No one has been dissappointed. I fact my mothers bible study group always looks forward to when it's her turn to take the snack. I just pull up Catherine and make something good.

I love that she makes great stuff with normal ingredients I can put together quickly and the crockpot recipes are a huge bonus!!! I am so happy I found her channel!!!❤️

Before you add the dressing, but that mixture on your potato skins, heat up then top with the dressing... YUM

We added water chestnuts to ours

I’ll bet this would be good with some fresh corn added to it.

I've had this as just raw broccoli salad before at potlucks, with raisins. I hear that if you BLANCH your veggies, they are more nutritious than raw. A little less dressing makes for a more colorful salad. I like it when your son helps you!

Hi Cathy I have a recipe for you to make and try it's called cream cheese tomato and onion sandwich spread all you do is take a box of cream cheese and dice up and onion and dice up a tomato then you put it all together in the bowl of cream cheese and mix it together and put it on bread it's great feel free to do a video of this recipe thank u

Good morning Catherine 🥰 I wondered if, instead of steaming could I flash blanch the cauliflower and broccoli,ice shock it to stop the cooking process?would that gv the consistency,I'm just worried I'd over steam...then I'd hv to cry lol,bc this looks amazing ...I may lighten it up,by using a light coat of sweet vinegar lil bacon fat dressing.

I would add in some hard boiled eggs, and some red or yellow bell peppers for more color and crunch. Also, where did you get the steamer basket ??

That looks good but I cannot use sugar. I think I would use swerve sugar. My husband has type 2 diabetes and he loves a sweet broccoli salad. It is a great summer delight for sure. Or anytime delight.
