Wow they did aSUPER job. The best version of the dance, fantastic unified tapping. Crisp. With great characterization and singing. Had I been there I wudda given a standing O!!!

Inspiring - that so much attention was paid to the original - and could be so closely achieved on a live stage.

Brilliant! Ohhhh, why didn't I go see this in 1985????

I saw this on Broadway when I was a kid. I loved the movie but this was a lot of fun - very entertaining. Having a full blown rainstorm on stage with a "splash zone" in the front row was pretty cool.

They did a great job. :) Must be hard to take on roles that Kelly and O'Connor immortalised.

That was fucking flawless... holy hell these guys are spectacular! Never thought I would see dancers match the film version of this, and in my opinion, the music in this version blows the films score out of the water. The saxes kicking in at 3:26 and the strings at 3:48 gave me chills it sounded so good!

Thanks! Don't forget, the film version was made up of several edits, so they never had to do it all the way through. Plus they dubbed the taps and singing and didn't have to worry about that either...it took many days sometimes more to shoot each number. We did each number straight thru without cuts, had to actually execute all the taps and singing (when out of breath), and did ALL the numbers for every show. 8 times a week...twice a day on Wednesdays & Saturdays! Brutal!

@@marxps oh its actually you performing in the video?! Well I have to say it's an honor man... both of you were just absolutely fantastic! I've probably watched this video 50 times over the past week, and am seriously considering taking tap lessons directly as a result of this performance.
