Although the song is ridiculously violent, it’s actually one of his most amazing songs. It would have been amazing to watch him in the booth. The pain he portrays in his voice, the steady progression of him going crazy, doing Kim’s voice, just unbelievable. I still remember the first time I heard this song. Way back when it came out. I was entrenched. The fact that he was still with Kim when this song came out is even more unbelievable. Probably my favorite song of his to this day. One of the best comments - "He mad talented. And what a person. He really pours his heart and soul in his art. The intensity of his pain, his rage, his despair, of his utterly broken heart. You can hear it all. In all its nuance, the entirety of it gets translated with his words and voice and his body. He sings with his body. He puts his all into it. He lives his truth in his music and that takes fucking guts. And he does it so unapologetically, with unmatched aplomb. I love his aggression, i love his emotion, i love his hate and all his rage, all his pain. Because a true artist first and foremost 'feels'. And this man 'feels'. He feels with all of him, no holds barred and it's just magnificent to see and hear and feel THAT much emotion, so honest and raw and hence, precisely moulded to hit you in the right spots. That he is talented enough to convert the energy and mood of his feelings into songs which is then so thoroughly and viscerally injected into his listeners. It's a rare talent. I am glad this man exists and exists well. Really. Truly."

One of EMS most masterpiece songs imo. It's a Shakespeare song, a play acted out in sound with perfect emotional delivery and sound. It might be a shocking theme, but it's a total masterpiece. This song was so crazy, the edited version of the album had a whole different track in its place. "Drugs are Bad", the south park themed song...which is pretty funny in it's own right. Not something you listen to more than a few times, but you never forget it either.

Hands down the BEST Eminem song EVER, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the passion in it, his acting was outstanding, because it came right from the heart, if a song could have it would have won an Oscar. I played this for my mum, who became a massive fan after I dragged her to see the opening of 8 Mile lol, and my mum was a churchgoing woman lol, you know the type hehehe, and although she said it was harsh she appreciated his talent, her fave song of his was Cleaning out my Closet, because it was about his mum Lol I miss that woman, best mum ever

This song is actually a masterpiece if you really listen to it! It's deep af and very very dark and the chilling part is him slitting her throat at the end!
Name another rapper that gets that into his emotions and feelings like that in a song to be screaming like this in the booth. Other than NF of course.
You can seriously hear the pain in his voice. He was hurtin' BAD when he made this song.

On the non-explicit version of the MMLP album this song had to be cut from it entirely so he replaced this song with the song "The Kids". You should react to that. Really shows Eminem's genius, humor, and disdain for censorship.
This song got me recollecting memories of first year in junior high, the year 2000. Was 12 years old back then. Those were the good old days 😥 Thanks for reacting to it ✊🏿
Some facts about this song: It was not produced by Dre but by the Bass Brothers in 1998 yet! Em did in one take! He showed it to Kim claiming he did it to show her how much he loves her! Jeff Bass said that Em must´ve been just freaky when Em recorded it
Eminem played this live at a concert using a blow up doll as Kim. She was in the audience, went home and slit her wrists but she was found in time. 97 Bonnie and Clyde was a song made before this song but it’s actually a sequel to this song and in a way it’s even darker than this one. Great reaction Coach ✌🏻

I saw the interview Kim did talking about this song at the concert .. it is true.. she was in the audience he had a blowup doll as Kim.. and it was the audience singing along with Em that really upset her.. and she went home and slit her wrists Can you imagine how bad she must have felt to be that desperate to slit her wrists?? And Em knowing she was there and still acting it out with a blowup doll?? DATS TOUF‼️
