It is sad to see the changing Britney. I blame the industry. I wonder why she never got out and just went to Kentwood for a few years or something? What held her back? As a huge fan for 19 years I realized the passion in her eyes died out when her image became overly sexual like she was forced or something . Sad

This is why people fell in love with Britney and why she surpassed Christina, Jessica and Mandy. She was fun, humble, danced her ass off and her songs were easy for everyone to sing along to. If only teens these days would look back at these epic performances and realize how great she is instead of criticizing her.

One thing this footage has made me realize is what an incredibly body-positive role model she was. She looks so healthy. TRULY healthy. Most female celebrities today have legs and arms that are like twigs. Britney has some meat on her, and it’s beautiful! This is not someone who is starving herself. She is obviously feeling great in the body she has and is having the time of her life moving and grooving in it.

She was amazing back then! You can tell she loved what she did!

MakeupByCovi so funny that parents were saying she’s such a bad influence when all of us just thought she was badass. I remember just thinking of her as my big older sister because she is just cool, so pretty but could be a dork about it, made me accept my flaws because she did too.

The days when Britney was Britney! I regret not catching her in concert those days I was a broke college student. Her energy was incredible she gave me goosebumps. I miss the original doll.

Sashå MidgeChristie sadly the "crazy" Britney Spears is probably more true to who she really is. The "old" Britney you refer to is a character dreamed up by her record company. Unfortunately, she (like many artists) could no longer deal with having to be 2 people: the record company Britney we saw in public and the real Britney she couldn't be in public and lost it big time. Having just dipped my toe in the music business I can tell you it is NOT as glamorous as it looks. It is REALLY bad on the inside for 99.6% of the artists. Even a megastar multi-million album selling artist like Prince was nothing more than money making property in Warner Bros. eyes.
