I agree and because of that I don't think she has issues with being out in public. Her agenda is playing basketball and winning. Whereas the rest of the league appears to want the fame and notoriety. While Britt griner might be a pretty good player, the notoriety comes from once being a boy. While most people don't care either way, the fans are there to see them play the game.

I agree but don't give Taurasi no credit. You don't go from the biggest hater of CC or any rookie to a supporter in a few weeks. It's only bc she been catching hell from media and her own fans and getting her azz whipped twice by CC. What's the coincidence she's changed right when Brittany defends CC? I’ve been really liking the more positive things I’ve seen, like this. I know in Iowa City if she left her home, she would definitely get recognized in the grocery store, etc. She also did her classes online. I would think most people in Indianapolis know who is she, but I know when I went to Texas to visit family, none of them knew who she was, so maybe in Indy since it’s a bigger city and not everyone sports fans, it could be a little better? She has acknowledged the fame can be heavy but she knows there’s a million people who would love to be her, so she knows she’s lucky and that’s part of it.
