Hi angel ! What do you mean by BRP? I am European citizen living in the UK. I do have settled status .Do Home Office want me to fill in any details about my settled status on BRP section in the form or not? I didnt get that. ❤

The BRP is your card, and you will be asked fill the information out e.g the number and expiry date . Hope this helps

If you have Settled Status under the EU settlement law, you would not have a BRP (Biometric residence permit). BRPs are issued to people with visas and other forms of residence permits. There are likely other ways that you prove your status in the application process.

Hi, Tombuss thank you for all the info, however, `I would to be clear with a few things please see below 1.- How can I get the right enter to the UK? ( I know the month and year ). 2.- About the 5 last years trips I found a few of them but cannot find more so Is there any way to get a trips history? 3.- I have this scenario: I will be travelling in 2 weeks and one more time in February ( Holidays ) my question is I send off the application next week for example so Will I not be able to travel? I mean if that it will affect the application once I sent off. Thanks in advance

Thank you for your questions, not clear with your question 1 as for you to apply for British citizenship application you already have the right to be in the UK, getting a British citizenship, you can get this in different ways . Question 2 trips outside the UK from the last 5yrs, you will be getting the information from your passport as it’s shows all the trips you have made out the UK, this you indicating the country you have travelled to, the reason for your travel, if you have not travelled then you will indicate not applicable. For your question you will be able to travel and be allowed in the UK so long as you show your indefinite leave to remain ILR at the UK border. However, I will advise to wait for your application to be approved before travelling. Also, you might want to seek a legal advice before travelling. I hope this helps

Ok, all of that information is in your passport. So you have to get the passport that you used to enter the UK. Hope this helps

Thank you so much watching and for your question. Usually application timescale is 6 months. So you should be getting a decision anytime soon, if they need you to provide additional documents, they will contact via your email so check your email as well. So long as you have provided all the required documentation, you will be fine.

If you have two jobs, that is to say you are paying tax for the both. You will have to mention your main job. Also, you might want to contact a legal adviser.

My wife has just completed her UK Citizenship application form online and paid the fee (currently £1630) She had previously photocopied all relevant documents, thinking it would be a simple case of adding this to the application. She was then directed to a separate site .. UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services where she had to open a new account. It is asking her to make an appointment, which would cost an additional £143. Is this appointment essential, or just some form of assistance, perhaps for folk not having access to photocopiers etc. If she has to attend, that’s fine .. she just doesn’t want to be wasting £143 Thanks !

Yes, but I didn’t pay for the appointment as I was able to get free appointment. So, it’s depends how urgent your wife wants it, just keep on checking to get the free appointments. I hope this helps

@@BuildwealthwithTomby Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant ! I didn't know about free appointments so took a look online. It seems they are released at 09:00, but are taken quickly. This morning I looged on the computer, my wife loogred on, on her iPad and our daugter onnher phone. I had given each of us different dates to look for, so we didn't waste time looking at the same day. My first dates only had paid-for appointments, but the 3rd date i llokied up had a couple of free appointments. I grabbed one, confirmed acceptance and within about 2 minutes my wife received an email confirming her free apoointment .. £143 saved !

So being in the uk for 3 years I'm already eligible to apply for citizenship?

For you to apply for British citizenship, you must have received your settlement or indefinite leave to remain. Hope, this helps

It’s depends, if your partner is British born. Then after getting your settlement, you are able to apply for your citizenship immediately. However, you may have to seek legal advice if you are not married. I hope this helps

If your husband is born here in the UK, you can apply immediately, if not UK born then you will be able to apply for British citizenship after a year.
