This is so awesome. The onboards with superkarts don't properly give perspective to how fast they are and this video does them justice. The camera shots and perspective are a chefs kiss. All of the slow motion shots make me feel like I'm watching an f1 broadcast.

They seem like 250cc bumblebees going 600mph! Great video!

250cc, 100+HP, 6 gears...... 250cc 2 stroke GP bike motors..... A supercart holds the open lap record at Adelaide's Formula One track...... 2 seconds faster than the F1 lap record.

@@Ryan_H22 It's all relative Ryan I have a mc22 CBR 250rr HRC 1990 4 cylinder, it puts out 50-55hp at 19000rpm and only weighs 280 lbs. Take one for a ride, you will trade in your 400 on the spot !

0-60 in 3 seconds! Power to weight ratio of a F2 car. 140- 160 mph. As quick as a GP bike around Assen in Hollander! Great fun I know as I raced for some 8 years! Still miss it today.

Yes, alive and well in the Unites States. NCK is a road racing series located in California. There's another road race group based in Arizona and on east coast Woodbridge kart club. Very confident there are more,

Funny you say that. Before modern day regulations stipulated engines and restrictions, the 100cc non-gearbox class was dominated by McCulloch chainsaw engines! I personally think this is automotive symphony, not a racket. Yes I used to race one too! ;)
