As an Indian-origin Catholic who migrated from Kerala to the UK, I have always felt welcomed by the British people. I've experienced no extremism from anyone here. I hold dear my values and show respect to all, fulfilling my duties by paying taxes and contributing to society's betterment. The UK, as I see it, is a secular society. If Islamic ideology is being targeted, it may be time for a critical reflection on its contributions to society and how society responds in return. Islam, as an ideology, has failed humanity and should be reconsidered or even ended.
