    The one who’s passing it to him most of the time is an all time great point guard, Chris Paul or CP3. Worth a video to check him out. Complete beast point guard.

    Still posting this, hope you see it one day : Now that you seem to understand a little more what's happening on the court, you could use basketball-reference.com to get familiar with stats, it's a very complete tool, which you will at first glance use only to see overall career of a specific player, but you could later on enter in-deep on the tool, to see every single detail game-by-game, play-by-play etc, for a huge example of how it can show you something you can't see on highlights reel, you could first take a look on Giannis' page, and you'll witness why we call him a monster : he NEVER stopped progressing in every category since his arival on the league 7 years ago and we still don't know where it'll stop. You could also get mind-blown looking at LeBron's page seeing that we still don't know where his statistical prime is, since he seems to be in his prime for 16 years now etc. With this tool you'll get little by little familiar with stats

    A few years back, the Clippers had a completely different team than they do now. They had great passing guards like Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford and some of the best dunkers in the game in DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin. They were known for all of the alley-oops they had from the guards to Griffin and Jordan, and eventually got the nickname “Lob City”. That team and the early 2010’s Thunder team (Westbrook, KD, Harden, all young at the time) are two of the biggest “what-if” stories in NBA history, because they split up before they reached their full potential. You should check them out Luka!

    Blake Griffin used to be more of a dunker in the past. More recently he had arguably his best season ever with the pistons, but his play style is much more different. He evolved as the NBA evolved and can shoot the 3 now on a pretty good percentage. He handles the ball much better. Although he isn't as exciting as in the past, he is a better overall player. However, his injuries are catching up to him and I personally think he will retire in the next 2-3 years.

  • @Rollaplus
    @Rollaplus4 жыл бұрын

    He used to be borderline just a dunker but his game has evolved alot and he can now quite comfortably handle the ball with ease and finesse and shoot from anywhere decently well, he's evolved quite nicely! Also random but he is a cool guy and even does some stand-up comedy from time to time and its actually pretty decent

    If you were wondering Blake is 6,10 251 pounds of pure muscle. He is around 7 % body fat and got 185 pounds on the bench press for 22 reps at the nba combine. He was always so much faster and stronger and could jump so much higher than anyone who guarded him. He is one of the best dunkers one of the best high flyers and one of the strongest players ever. He is one of the greatest contact finisher of all time. His ball handling and passing skills for a power forward were amazing. He was like a guard at 6,10. In the 2015 players he avreaged 25 points 12 rebounds and 7 assists vs the spurs with kawhi, Tim duncan, etc. Also vs rockets with dwight howard and josh smith. In game one of the series vs the rockets Chris Paul was injured and blake played point guard and they won. He also had a very respectable mid range shot especially for a big guy. He even could shoot the 3 and was a above avreaged defender. If you watch 2019 blake he would drill 3s casually. He's a 6x all star dunk contest champ and a rookie of the year. The only thing that has ever slowed him down has been injures.

    When Griffin first came into the league he was a decently skilled pf who just happened to be a generational vertical athlete. So people really underated his skill because he was just that insanely athletic, people would say that all he did was all he does is dunk. Which was mostly true, early in his career he was pretty much a zero from anywhere out of the paint. Once Chris Paul came to la , Blake got one the top 5 pg of all time, and started to receive excellent feeds from Paul on a nightly bases. Dunks became almost all his highlights, so people really underated his ball handling, passing ability, and touch around the rim. In recent years he's been setback by constant injures, and sadly the atheletism is really toned down now but he responded by becoming a really good shooter and elevating just his skills overall. He had his best year of his career last year in Detroit, but sadly due to a knee surgery he missed this season. And honestly it's looking pretty bleak for him since it looks like his body just can't handle 82 games plus playoffs anymore.

    I really would appreciate if you’d read this: It’s not too relevant to this video, but I’ve noticed in past videos that you don’t always look at the scoreboard, for example some clutch shots you don’t realize are to win the game. Also, if it’s in a playoff game, it obviously will have more significance, and the scoreboard will almost always tell you the conference, (if it says the Finals then it’s obviously no conference) the exact round, and the exact game. All series go to 7 games as well, so a clutch shot in game 7 will have much more significance than a clutch shot in game 1.

    Hey Luka, I can tell you enjoyed this video. Blake Griffin used to play with Chris Paul and Deandre Jordan on the Clippers, now he is on the Detroit Pistons and facing some injuries. If you want to see some big dunks, you should check out 'Deandre Jordan BEST Career Plays'. It's only a 5 minute video, but it summarises who he is as a player and it's interesting that he is a 6'11 centre that has pretty much never shot/made a jumpshot in his career but prides himself on grabbing rebounds, protecting the rim, and perfecting the pick and roll two man game with the Chris Paul. He and Blake Griffin were the reason the Clippers were called Lob City. Lastly, an additional incentive to watch that video is the final play is one of the most disgusting dunks you will ever witness, a true murder.

    Blake Griffin is now on the Pistons since early 2018. When he is playing, he barely uses that much athleticism anymore due to injuries/age, but he has really developed his game since. He’s a solid passer/playmaker now and now has added a three-point shot to his game. His big three with Chris Paul and Deandre Jordan on the Clipper was known as ‘Lob City’ because of all the insane dunks and oops they’d get together.

After all his injuries and surgeries to his knee he developed a great jump shot and can spread the floor now. He’s actually a great passer as well now being the general in Detroit 2 seasons ago before he sat out this season after another surgery.
