Agree. Female Rappers we’re doing stuff like this about 25 years ago. But it was obviously nowhere near a popular. The difference is they weren’t glorifying prostitution.

Avoided listening to this garbage until now, only listened because of you... and wow... so bad... Really impressed by your intelligence and attitude, you’re great. ;)

It's so good to hear people being blunt and honest...I cringe at "music" like this, not because it exists, but because some people take it VERY seriously that it's actually good music...is it entertaining? Yes, but more of an eyeroll kind of way...that said, I do like Chun Li by Nicki Minaj...it's not really my genre, but it's lyrically good and also an entertaining video...

@@yazma2 On the other hand, if the song was intended to be sarcasm, it was a perfect send-up of a lot of male-produced "music" that isn't any more original, musically or lyrically. On a completely different subject, have you listened to any Jethro Tull? You might enjoy it.

It seems to me (no expertise in anything) that it is the same formula as Madonna (and others) Shock for hits and hope for Bangers to be sprinkled in. It allows an artist to stay relevant so the catalog as whole can be judged as success or failure. Not filling out a form but be interested in you react to Digable Planets if you haven’t yet

Completely spot on, in my opinion. The song is so bad, I prefer Nicki Minaj's Anaconda over this for musical value, which is quite a low bar to set, really. :') The clip itself is so much fun to watch though. Loved the Alice in Wonderland-esque hallway and the obvious jabs at the way the "hyper masculine" rappers promote themselves in their music videos.

@@yazma2 Yeah, Sno Tha Product kills it. She also doesn't act like some former prostitute in her videos either. Sno was also a ghost writer for a lot of female rappers 5 - 10 ago. The label she worked for didnt allow her to produce any of her own stuff to.

I yawned also. And don't worry, I have no idea who those ...people were, either. And yes, the song is...awful. Some of the costumes were....hmm. Huh. Hmh. However! If you're looking for something different, might I suggest "Very Noise" by a band named "Igorr", with two "R"s. And if you haven't already seen the music video, I recommend not looking up anything and just be pleasantly surprised.
