Hello. Congratulations on your approval! In my case, I went to my local council’s website and searched for the topic about Citizenship Ceremony. Then I looked for their email address where I can ask questions. Fortunately someone replied and confirmed that they also received my approval letter from the Home Office but they said that I should wait for them to contact me for my ceremony schedule. And that’s what I did I just waited until they contacted me through email about my ceremony.

@@saaanbbb62 I submitted my application in May 2021, biometrics appointment was on May 28. I received confirmation that my application had been successful in August 2021. It was quicker than expected as they had informed me that the outcome could take up to 6 months. Good luck

@@amirahabdi once you got approval. It took me a month for invitation letter. Sent it to your council via email mentioning your details. You can also call them to ask them. Once you send it through email they will call to give you date for ceremony. It won't take long, for me once it approved, it took a month gap in each next step. Sit tight nothing to worry about now.

@@amirahabdi yeah you can do that I did twice but they won't reply. Just be patience. Everything will be alright. It took me a month to get invitation letter. I was left with only 6 week to book ceremony. But once i received, council booked me within 4 weeks.

@@Duskymaiden I don’t want to scare you, but when I first applied I wasn’t in employment it took a very long time for me to get a decision like years, and soon as I when into employment I got accepted So being employed shows your contribution to the country and that your not lazy and living off benefits

No they don’t only above 18 need an invitation letter and ceremony, but I don’t know how they will collect thier Certificate!! Did you or your husband have ILR before your son was born? If so then he didn’t need to be natrulised Just straight to passport application with his birth certificate and your ILR showing the date you received it which would be the dates before he was born!!! That what I did with my two children !! Within 3 weeks they both got British passports

Hello. I just replied to the email that I received from my local council. You can inquire about your ceremony on the local council that you put on your application. At the moment, I know some people are still waiting for their ceremony invitation letter too.

@@TheWooloffs Intresting. I didn't get an email with my acceptance, I got a letter via mail. It said to wait until they send me another letter with my booking date and it's been three months which is the max amount of time it would take. I sent and email to ukincanada@fcdo.gov.uk and I got an automated response. So just wondering who you connected with. I'm in Canada so maybe it's different.

Criminal record. Not being a person of good character Not paying your taxes. This is important. If you self employed make sure you pay your taxes as they'll check. I had to pay back taxes before I applied which I didn't want to pay lol.

Hello. Not sure what is the number in the invitation letter. That could be the Home Office number. You should contact your local council, the one you’ve put on your application. Normally, you should just wait for them to tell you that they have booked your ceremony. That is what happened to me. I just waited for my local council to contact me.

@@amirahabdi visit the website of your nominated local council and book for a citizenship ceremony using the reference number you had in the approval letter or email. That is what I did. I hope this helps👍.... Good luck
