In my Soviet school we've never learned about Battle for Britain, Winter war against Finland and German - Soviet invasion to Poland in 1939. And when Ive seen BBC Battle for Britain (thanks to Internet😊)I was really shoked and inspired by British People Spirit and Heroism! And after all these decades you're still on a right side! If you really are a rare becoming enlightened Russian you may also consider the amount of aid Britain gave Russia to fight their patriotic war. 40 PER CENT of all armour in the defence of Moscow was given to Russia by a very stretched Britain. Also 3 thousand aircraft and a million pairs of boots - and everything need to survive in between those extremes.

To be fair, although Brits know a lot about the Battle of Britain, they know essentially nothing about the winter war and very little about WWII in the western Soviet Union. They also know essentially nothing about either of the Russo-Japanese wars of 1905 and 1945. I am talking about the vast majority of citizens, of course, not those who take a special interest in military history.

I am from Poland but have lived in Wales for almost 20 years, my children are UK citizens. Thank you for supporting Ukraine in the fight against the enemy of free people in Europe. Glory to the heroes !!! 🔱⚜🏵

As a British citizen, I would say that my government and the US government are a far greater threat to free people than Putin is. Putin was no threat to Europe and what is happening in Ukraine would not be happening if America did not start this by destabilising Ukraine and removing a pro Russian administration.

Please also remember the Ukrainians from the old diaspora: we put pressure on the British government in March 2022 when they were afraid even to come to Kyiv. Let me tell you: without "the mandate" from the people the Western leaders don't lift a finger. It's all about elections. Our tax money & more to the point, our own money go towards donations, both humanitarian aid for the general public, including supporting Ukrainian refugees in the U.K. & the displaced persons in Ukraine & the international volunteers, both in the military & the medicals corps who valiantly, under constant shelling & bombardment by the invaders evacuate women & children, the disabled & the elderly from the areas overrun by the Russian army. One such person is a Canadian who served in our British Army, moved to Sweden for work & who is now the only remaining volunteer from the original group (the rest have died in their line of duty in Ukraine, killed by the Russians) who came in the spring of 2022 to Ukraine because they could not idly stand by & watch the slaughter of the innocent & peaceful citizens of Ukraine by the Russo-Mongol hordes of Muscovy. His name is Brandon Mitchell.

As an ex British soldier I was proud to watch this film of the utter professionalism of our British forces. In fact reading the wonderful comments from the Ukrainian people I’ll be honest it made me feel so proud to be a Brit in helping the amazing Ukrainian people fight despicable enemy as the Russians. In fact it brought tears to my eyes. Ukrainians people are fighting and dying for democracy that we in the west take fore granted as a given!

I live close to the burnt out building featured at 20:20. Some people died in the explosion/fire. My district is on the outskirt of the city next to a forest, and behind the forest are Bucha/Irpin so there was loud artillery fire 24/7 for a month until russians were kicked out of Kyiv region. The day when they left and suddenly there was silence - was the first time in my life I saw my father crying. If it wasn't for Britons (who, time and time again, were the first ones to provide us support and weapons) the whole district would definitely have laid in ruins by now, not just that one building. I'm pretty sure these Challengers will fuck the russian armor up

There is a genuine value in national pride and it doesn't need to be overtly nationalistic. The terminology can lead to misgivings and misunderstandings that are commonly politicised for no reason other than politics, of course. And while it's good to keep such enthusiasm in some sort of check to not let it go over the top, the problem is, some people will take that to mean going as far as not having any pride at all. Let's not be overly equivocal and unpatriotic about it; there is a lot to be proud of. We don't need to feel guilty about decent support of allies which were promised as much when they were told they would be protected when they voluntarily gave up their nuclear stockpile. The West helping Ukraine was always going to happen. That was set in stone. The British helping Ukraine, was just as guaranteed as the USA doing so. It's just that since the end of the Soviet Union, the West thought there wouldn't be a major land war in Europe again, which was really unwise in my view. Of course it was still possible. Everyone was understandably just so sick and tired of the Cold War that they wanted to move on and just enjoy some sense of a different era. Sadly, Putin wanted very specifically to drag everyone back to that kind of East-West animosity and the growth of NATO was callously used as a pretext for some of not only Russia's actions, but China's. It is not a matter of being too timid to be patriotic. That is needless equivocation and you should be a little more confident in the United Kingdom and our civilisation. For that is precisely what this is about; a clash of civilisational forms. One, retrograde and destructive, the other forward-thinking and constructive.

Being Irish, there's a strange mixture of being glad to see the UK doing what they are doing in this video, and also some pangs of my nations's historic experience with Britain - British people tallking about pride in the military is a little tough to hear sometimes. On this occasion however, I'd say we can all agree you should get those machines on the first available ferry to Calais and have them shooting at Russians an hour later if at all possible.

All ideologies are inherently evil in their extremities. Nationalism, capitalism, socialism, liberalism. Socialism in its extremity will confiscate wealth from even ordinary people, liberalism will lodge society into contractual slavery if followed to the extremes, conservatism will eventually corrode a society (like Spartan society) to insignificance. Societies including many dictatorships are melting pots of different ideologies.

Despite what you might have heard to the contrary, the US remains our closest ally and friend, and America is one of our favourite destinations to visit. We have a strong cultural affinity for the US and its people and many Brits have second homes there especially in Florida. As someone once said, when Americans and Brits get together (collaboration) good things happen - e.g. WW1 and WW2/the defeat of Hitler, the special relationship between Churchill and Roosevelt, Reagan and Thatcher, shared values and language, trade, military cooperation, P-51 Mustang, Boeing 757 and latest B-52 (Rolls-Royce engines), AC Cobra, Jensen Interceptor (American engines), Jimi Hendrix Experience, Fleetwood Mac and there are probably many others :)

Fantastic footage and great work, Brits will never be forgotten for what they're doing right now! I visited Ukraine in the past few months, and everybody, and I mean everybody, was praising British government and ordinary people. As a Pole living in the UK, I'm heartbroken by this war, and I support Ukraine much as I can. Some of my Ukrainian friends are fighting, two have been killed in action recently. All Ukrainians have proven their bravery, from those on the frontline to those tirelessly helping the country and army behind the scenes. Poles know too well what Russian "liberation" looks like, and we will stand with you for as long as it takes!

My Son is a Signaller on the south coast, and he's been telling us all about the breadth of experienced soldiers from all across the NATO family of armies who are coming to England to help train the Ukrainian soldiers. The whole initiative deserves much more recognition for the incredible teamwork on display, and the undoubted assistance being given to our new allies in Ukraine is something everyone involved should be very proud of. Bravo boys.

We routinely have instructors on exchange. You will find British instructors (amongst other nations) in Fort Benning. They become fully qualified instructors for the host nation's equipment and are an integral part of the staff.

Russian Armour ,and is going to be put into the hands of very highly motivated ,well trained and experienced Tank crews vs Russian conscripts and the Wagner group . If we're on your side mate we bring a bunch of our old friends like the yanks, the frogs, the krauts, the convicts, the kiwis so many I can't remember them all, and now Ukraine is our friend too, like the poles have been for so long. @@chasefrancis8742 We routinely have instructors on exchange. You will find British instructors (amongst other nations) in Fort Benning. They become fully qualified instructors for the host nation's equipment and are an integral part of the staff.

Me being the son of a Ukrainian who, along with thousands of others, fled Stalinism and was accepted into the U.K. at the end of WW2 - it´s not hard to imagine the sense of gratitude and pride that is coursing through my veins when I see this. I wish he was here to see it too. Slava U.Kraine.

It's been a while since I could be unambiguously proud of something my government has done, but the support we're giving to Ukraine absolutely qualifies. So proud to be British right now, and so proud of the brave Ukrainian people.
