I went to this - it was absolutely fabulous

Wow! what a surprise, when I saw "Haearn" listed i was expecting someone to have finally posted one of the TV versions of the performance, either the English or Welsh one, but to find an audience bootleg version is incredible! I was Hephaestus in this performance - the one with an unhealthy fire fixation, and a bit disappointed that you dont have my overhead entry on tape - did you have the entire performance on film, I think there's a good 30 mins or more missing from the start, but can't really remember as i'm used to watching the tv edit. To see the final man and woman worked to death scene in real time is both fascinating and terrifying, considering that the temperature in the shed was close to freezing and they were battling with the man made rain - you don't have any more Brith Gof footage by any chance? Hiya Richard. I'm glad you were pleased with your search surprise. It was also a very nice surprise to receive your comment, from one of the performers who were there... Sorry to say that this is the entire footage I (more or less) have of the performance. We arrived about 15 - 20 minutes late due to the ice on the road over the top of Cefn Golau mountain. It was very cold on that Halloween many moons ago. And the stewards were very reluctant to let us late comers in. Especially with a large clunky VHSC video camera. After we explained that we had arrived at "New" Tredegar on time, only to realise that there were two Tredegar's Old & New; and we were in the wrong place, miles away from where we wanted to be. They escorted us to the only standing room left in the front. It did take me a few more minutes to get enough confidence to start filming under the watchful eyes of the security. It's not like it is today, where everybody's doing it...Cheers & many thanks. T()G /|\
