This guy really undersells Vince Carter. Sure, he never reached MJ level but he was an 8x all-star, put Canadian basketball on the map, played longer than anyone in history, and is widely regarded as the greatest dunker in basketball history. He's gonna be a Hall of Famer and even if he wasn't as great of a player as MJ he is still a cultural icon of the game.

Fun fact: Shaq was 6'6 at 12 years old. He was so big when he was on the military base they would make him play with the grown ups because they thought it would be unfair to the kids on the base. So that is how he got so big because he was getting roughed up by the older guys on the base.

I had the opportunity to see, Zion Williamson play while he was still in High School a few times. He was a man amongst boys out there on the court, that it didn't look fair. I still have videos of him on my cellphone from those dunks back then. These were tournament games, and after Zion team had played, over half the arena would go home, I felt bad for the kids yet to play.

Also, the mass he has is totally fine for a player to have in the league. Many have had long careers who have played way overweight and were fine. What makes Zion's mass so potentially dangerous is the fact that he's uber explosive and fast with his legs. This adds an amazing amount of pressure and torque on his joints that the other big, overweight players I am talking about didn't have and is why Zion is considered a freak.

@@kabirconsiders Maybe. What levels the playing field is how referee's call today's game. In Wilt's day there was no 3 pt shot. Therefore the lane was a battle zone, and players such as James Harden, LeBron James, Damian Lillard, and Stef Curry would have been hammered with no calls. Today all you need is to pass gas on an opponent and you get the call. The big changes in calls started during the Magic/Bird years and accelerated during the Jordan years. Refs were loathe to see the games superstars get hammered because they sold tickets, franchises had big investments in them, and they made for big TV viewership. Wilt even during his era never really used his strength because he was afraid of really hurting someone. But IMO, if a young Wilt were to go up against a young Shaq, and Shaq would have pushed back, Wilt would have run him into the ground in transition and manhandled him in the paint.

Because it is those kids who imagine new possibilities, develop the new skills and push the sports to new heights. In some ways I feel sorry for extremely tall individuals. The world is just not made for people their size. My brother in law is 6'9 and just getting in and out of his car is a real chore. And now that he is older with a bad back also very painful. Fun fact about Jordan. The league had to change the rules of basketball to be less physical in order for him to win. That is why he will never be the goat. You dont earn goat status by getting knocked around till the powers that be change the game to fit you.

Some will want to fight me, but Jordan shouldn't be on this list. He wasn't a freak of nature physically. To say the least, he was average in a physical nature aside one or 2 aspects. Him being MJ and being the GOAT shouldn't put him here. I can name a dozen other 'Freaks of nature' ahead of Jordan off the top of my head. Wrong list for him to be put on.
