Heading all the way Down Under to Brisbane, Australia with this nice little gem. The city is right on the coast, but set back on Moreton Bay, which makes this a great city for boaters and water enthusiasts. Having the Brisbane River winding through the downtown just adds to the city’s allure and creates some of the best city/river cruises you can find.
Ideally, you’d want to spend a few days here and take some of the longer excursions up or down the coast to either Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast and make your time count, but honestly, you don’t have to even leave downtown here to fill several days’ worth. From Queen Street to the South Bank Parkland, you’ll easily find yourself immersed in what Brisbane has to offer.
