Brow pencils or brow liners can turn red/ orange if they come in contact with Vitamin C serum. Dr. Michelle Wong/ Lab Muffin Beauty Science said the blue ferric ammonium cyanide becomes colourless when the Fe3 ions are reduced by the Ascorbic Acid. I expect that swabbing through your brow area with micellar water to remove any skincare from the brow area would help avoid red eyebrows. Hope that's worth a try.

Pour some sugar on spilled nailpolish it's so easy to clean up that way, swipe residues with some nailpolish remover and you're good.

Agreed on the Shapetape. Tarte had a "fingerpaint" palette that had the most luscious foiled metallics I've ever seen. Why didn't they go down that path? Nope. Shapetape.

I loved seeing the little drawers! The silver looked good with the blonde ponytail! Elf glistening peach multi stick was reformulated 🙄 so I I still use my really old one. They also had a really nice cream blush palette but it’s discontinued. 😞 I declutterred it because mine was gross but wish I would have kept mine either way lol. The new cream pots they have are different.

The best foundation was from tarte in the teal blue weird shaped bottle. It was soo underrated, but to everyone that loved bb creams that recommended it to(working at sephora), loved it!

I use NYX Cool Ash Brown. The regular Ash Brown is too warm, but they make one called Cool Ash Brown. If you feel like using an angled brow brush, MAC paint pot in Tailor Grey is a pretty awesome option too. Very cool, but works with Blonde & light brown hair. Oh! Also the Tarte Amazonian Clay pencil in Ash Blonde leans cool. Have an awesome day! ❤

I have a cooler toned blonder going and my FAVORITE eyebrow pencil is Sephora’s waterproof retractable brow pencil in neutral gray brown. It’s fabulous!!

I love this! I'm all in for using older makeup products. I have some quite old things, I started doing my makeup in the end of 2016 and I still have some stuff from that time... 😅 But I am currently working on using up older things completely so the money wasn't wasted. For example the bronzer is going surprisingly well, even tho back then I bought it in a shade that is a bit too deep 😂 but a highlighter is included in there as well so I can mix to get a better shade. But yeah a lot of my older makeup still kicks ass, I'd love to see more from your makeup collection! 🥰

Hey Theresa! So, in regards to your new brow color (😂 sry, I had to), LabMuffin once said that vitamin C and something else (that I, of course, can't remember the name of atm 🙄 boy do I suck), can cause your brow products to pull red, or in some instances, even green. So if you haven't changed your brow product, it could be something in your skin care that's causing the shift in color. Hope that helps and I hope you and Alex have a great week!

Your brows look great, tbh. I honestly thought you did it on purpose. 😅 It makes sense though that they're actually brown but look red next to your lighter hair. Anyway, they look great but if you don't want red, I'd try maybe the Kosas micro pencil. I think I saw a cool toned blonde in that one. My brows are jet black so either black liquid liner or Kosas brow pencil in black is all I ever use anymore. Oh yeah, I really like the new NYX liquid brow pencil but like I said, jet black (actually, picture Red from the Angry Birds movie but with a little more snatched but kinda wonky brows, that's what I look like. My body is even shaped like his 🤣), so idk how the lighter shades would look. 🥝💚🖤

Here in the UK smashbox, becca and glamglow were all discontinued at the same time. I loved the smashbox power filling primer, the becca champagne pop highlighter and the glamglow eye cream. I am still trying to find as good a primer, at the moment I have the Ordinary silicone primer as it was cheap. I bought a few of the champagne pop mini pans before it was discontinued, and my other discontinued highlight of choice is the too faced candlelit glow in the peach shade. For eye cream, being 47 and having some lines, I have gone back to cerave eye balm.

i have dark brown/silver hair and platinum by nabla is a real good brow pencil for cool, ashy tones. 3.5 gimme brow pencil from benefit works ok too. i just avoid all the warm colors. i love seeing old makeup in action. so glad you are feeling better! ♥️

Hey, hear me out lol, I love a brown with blonde hair. Soft brown from kosas would look great. When I was blonde with bleach the brown always looked best. I had a shadow root and just went well… My daughter and I loved your black and white face paint video. This series is great, do more. It was so soooo funny.

I'm right between the same two Tarte foundation shades! I always wondered how they could cater so hard to light skin tones and still not get a good shade for my pasty ass 😆 Not sure if the USA sells this brand, but I've used Marcelle Nano Eyebrow Liner in Fair Ash Blond for like 7 years - it's perfect. I recently tried ETUDE Drawing Eye Brow in 02 Gray Brown and it's quite similar in colour but with an angular tip. Goodluck!

The best mascara I've found, is the Canmake Heroine-make super waterproof mascara, and it comes in lots of colours and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes! I prefer the long and curl formula.

My sister uses the NXY micro brow pencil in Ash Blonde with a clear brow gel to set. She had the same issue as you trying to find a blonde brow product that wasn’t warm AF.

I swear, the Got2Be hair texture powder is the Becca Hydro powder. It kind of freaked me out the first time I used it. Got that same WAP feel. (I see now it’s not the hydro powder. Oh well, still stand by it.)

FYI, even though that shade of foundation was really light when you put it on, it slightly oxidized and sunk in just enough to match perfectly. Before you put the concealer on. Concealer helped even more, but just so you know what I saw on this end.

I like the suqqu eyebrow pen in moss green. I have a lot of red in my skin but cool-toned hair/brows. The suqqu pen is one of the only things that doesn't pull orange in my brows.

Ok so I have super ashy blonde/light brown hair and all my brow pencils were way too warm! Even the ones named “taupe” or “cool brown” and it was driving me mad. I just bought the NYX brow pencil in grey - yes, grey - and it looks perfect! It can be too dark if I use a heavy hand but if I fluff it out with the spoolie, it’s perfect. Anyway, GREY!

The L'Oreal telescopic mascara is the first mascara, other than tubing mascara, that does not leave me with raccoon eyes. Yes, even waterproof mascara raccoons on me. Took me 41 years of wearing makeup to find. ❤

My favorite eye brow pencil is Clinque 03 soft brown! It's perfection!!

Bobbi Brown has an excellent brow pencil, I also like the Kevin Aucoin (remember that brand?!). I use a dark brown but very neutral and their range does neutral.

For the eyebrows: do you use a vitamin C? If I remember from a while back, Robert Welch was having the same issue with a benefit brow pencil. Lab Muffin Beauty said a certain ingredient interacted with vitamin C and turned yet. I might be talking out of my butt, but I think that was it!

Eyebrow pencil! I have the same coloring as you and I recently got the elf instant brow lift waterproof automatic pencil in blonde……perfect ash blonde and no oxidation!

If something is discontinued I usually try Amazon and it's there. Could always do that 😊

I used to f*** with Tarte Foundation. I decluttered it tho bc it was old. And it did have a matching concealer that came out before the foundation did. Also I have the Wayne Goss foundation brush he came out with for holiday in 2021, which reminds me of your beloved Merit one. I’d say the only difference is mine is double the size a double the bristles and made from undyed goats hair. It was one of the best $100 beauty purchases I ever made 😅 for being 2.5 years old she’s still goin strong. And I never experience bristles falling out with as big as she is. I would say on the eyebrows look for something cool toned ❤
