My boy is almost 10 and a lazy slug now but this video made me remember the beginning. Our arms were all scratched, our pants were ripped and he wouldn't sleep at night unless you spoke loud or had your hand on him at all times or he would wake up and cry lol. We thought he was crazy but he was just normal ☺

OMG, that was hilarious. The last Lab that my parents had would not leave me alone from the time they brought her home as a puppy. When it was just my parents at the house, my mother said all she did was sleep, but when I was there it was like flipping a switch and she would not leave me alone. The running joke was that I was her favorite chew toy. When I would come home on leave from Afghanistan, that dog was my shadow. She passed last year and I miss the hell out of that dog.

We just adopted our 3rd Mal, but our first non-mix one. The others we had were rescues that we got a 14 mos. old & 7 mos. old so this is our first true puppy. We were told she was 8 1/2 weeks old, but she seemed very much smaller based on other videos of Malinois puppies of similar ages. However, looking at your video, ours looks almost identical size wise. I'm wondering how much your puppy in this video weighed when you got her, and if you did any other height, length, etc. measurements. Ours was only 7.8 lbs at 9 week check up. Thanks and love the videos. I'm living your life I think, lol!

Hi there, you mention you do not feed the puppy from the bowl. You feed them from your hands for training sessions and so forth. So from what I have read a Belgian puppy should have 2 to 3 cups of dry food a day spread out over two meals... but you do it differently, you take those 2 to 3 dry food kibbles and just give it to her throughout the day? for training, rewards etc? just spread out the whole day? or you just do it with your training sessions? I am interested in getting a Belgium but I am not rushing into it, looking at educated myself quite a lot, your channel is very interesting so far, thanks:)

My two 10 month old Mal boys are watching this with me. They got interested when they heard her playing with the shoe!! I feel your pain! She seems very high drive and I love it. So are mine... Their father is ENZO GOD OF WAR who took 17th in the IPO Nationals in 2017. You can see him on KZread. Normally 2 littermates would be a no go but the original owner of the 2nd Mal (Killian) has been diagnosed with Stomach Cancer and ask me to take him as he has been following Kratos's progress. After lots of consideration but I agreed. So...I am a Maligator Mom too!

Hello Maligator Mom, So I have some questions. I want to get a Belgian puppy. I’m a longhaul truck driver. I spend most of my time traveling. The good thing is the puppy will be with me 24/7. I will have lots of time for training and exercise. One concern I have is crate training. A crate would take up most of the floor space in my truck. Do I have to crate train? The dog will be on the passenger side seat or on the bed always harnessed so it won’t fall and get hurt. Is this a good situation that will work for the puppy with plenty of exercise and outdoor activities? Thank you for sharing your experience of this wonderful breed. I look forward to all your videos.

Hopefully after 3 years you know better to teqch your watchers that it's OK for a pup or any dog to check on shoes, not only are you allowing bad behavior you teaching it, so on day it gets parts of the shoe engaged into it's stomach. & causes an obstrucrion which can kill the dog if someone wasn't educated enough and didn't have the money to pay for surgery.
