    I only make videos about things I am genuinely excited about, and so far I don't accept any payments for content on my channel. I do however produce commissioned content for various brand channels including Audiomodern. It pays the bills and allows me to do what I want over here :)

    very fascinating! two questions: 1. can it be used as midi Channel plugin too, transforming the outcoming audio live? 2. when i m using it on 4-5 percussion loops and i like a specific remix of them, can i bounce /save the remix to a new file , e.g via drag&drop into the DAW? Or do i have to use the DAWs record function to record the remix

  • @XanderEwald

    @XanderEwald

    Жыл бұрын

    It can only be used on a MIDI track as it is an instrument device, not an audio effect. It can only load samples/loop, but not receive and process any audio from external sources. The remixes can indeed be bounced to audio.

    I think it can make sense for a lot of styles. I’ have seen Ave Mcree use it for Hip Hop, and I made some techno loops with it too.

    You could use the volume tab to assign an individual level to each slice of the pad loop, but there is no envelope generator that affects the whole lane.

    This plugin is extremely confusing to use. it keeps generating sound at random, unwanted times and it's completely ignoring all midi files that I exported from it and dropped into ableton. I only want sound to play specifically where the actual midi file is at in my project. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    That is true for novelty in general. If you make music that requires mangled samples, like breakcore, this can be a useful production tool.
