Logistically speaking, I think new square option 1 is best, it's nice and close to the main industry at Horkeybor Quay, it has good existing connections to the transport network (you'll be able to utilise a new interchange on the current main highway, you have that small road access, and it gets closer to the wider "intercity" highway network), and you could divert passenger trains from the current mainline through Horkeybor Quay into the new area!

I really love this new addition to the game, it's so well done, makes the game a lot better, I wish they could make something like that for the Roads, since this game released, it has the same old looking roads, we deserve some cooler roads, from different countries with detailed stuff, I have a feeling that Paradox is doing a sequel for CS, and I'm a little bit sad for Cities Skylines to be abandoned because the new game, Imagine some players can only access the old game and want new stuff to come so they can keep interested for a while until get a new version with better features, I still think CS deserves a DLC to update things that needs to change, fixing old stuff, adding things from famous mods to the game to make it a lot better, like Move it, Something like Node Controller, and more, to be official to the game, so when Cities Skylines feels finished they can focus on the new thing, and try to combine things that made CS better, and getting new features with different systems to work easier and more functional, with less bugs and limitations, to makes things more realistic, no more cartooning looking, like the original CS back in the days, because the community wants more realism to the game, to feel fresh, and away different from the original, for my personal opinion, I wish this new possible sequel, can make it look like Cities Skylines+Transport Fever 2+Ostriv and I even have my own ideas inspired from another game called TheoTown, a pixel game for mobile and PC, there you can have bigger map, as a huge continent, but you can separate the map by tiles, and choose where you start, and it's big, and you won't see the full map only the region where you will build, only can load this section, and you can see the full map with a huge distance, and combine all your cities in one as a country, you can utilize the resources of others cities if you have full connection with the neighbors, like in Sim City was like, and how knows with that we can have a way to have a Multiplayer mode, on this continent you can invite people to play there, they can choose where to start, and plan things to work together with their others neighborhoods, just need a connection line and agreement with each other, everyone can access others regions and cities, and the owner of the continent can modify others regions if necessary to do a work project there, this is how I can see a Multiplayer mode working, I wish Paradox can make this work, we all will love this, and I really hope this sequel happens and make me get surprised more than seeing GTA 6 teaser, I always see this on my mind everytime I think about this happening..

At 29:03 your trains are running both ways, but stopping on the same platform for both. This means they will hold each other up and unnecessarily cross over the track. I would recommend making sure they each have their own platform going the right way, like at other stations. If it doesn't let you move the stop for some reason try removing and replacing it.

This video is a proper illustration of "just because something is new doesn't mean it's better." Every bridge replaced except maybe the first train viaduct bridge actually look and function worse than what was originally there.

31:18 I think the style of this station was better for the district and all the houses near by, also the building before the tracks was so wide that you could do the bypass underneath it, that would be really cool! :D

something completly unrelated with this video, i just found out, you can use a cable car for mass transport instead of busses, saves a lot of traffic, and moves loads of people. You might have some direct bus lines , like the airport shuttle, you can replace with a cable car. Greets from Slovakia, Erik

Option 3! Those strips of land could be like small exclusive villages with a beachfront. Maybe call them Oo-Long Beach or something haha. Plus you can then make a bridge to Highland District with maybe an extension from the highway and sort of loop the main highway instead of going off map. -I posted this again from the previous video :)

What I noticed that for the road bridges, you don't actually have to make it bridges, it can be used for normal ground level roads as well, so maybe it also works for the new train lines as well? Haven't tried that one out, but thought it's a tip worth sharing.

Love the new contentent packs! Now its time for that fancy new "bay bridge" i've been suggesting a couple of episodes back 😉 On the second train station, you got distracted by the "live go through" of the trains, and you seem to have forgotten to make the trains use "their" side of the station. Btw: Wouldn't the parallel road tools also work on rails and bridges? 🤔

I fully agree with you about metro. Maybe metro line can end at our first hub. But I wonder what can you build on Highland island? You can name it Ceylon, I think that will be perfect. It's lovely, it deserves something special.

26:00 - All train stations with parking have a park sub-building which explains the park maintenance vehicle. BadPeanut said it was the only way of getting enough people to actually use the parking lots.

You can add the Bus stops into The Hubs and Train station car parks. You can also use road bridges as surface streets, that you can zone and place buildings onto them. These can look really cool as some will have larger paths, with bricks as the paths.

@26:45 The normal train stations allow you to connect a pedestrian path to the other side of the station, I just bought this new creator pack so I haven't tested it yet, but I reckon it must allow you to do the same and then you won't need that weird pedestrian bridge over the rail line.

for the four lane stone bridge you put in no problem atoll, the center isnt aligned with the middle of the road. to make it nicer you should align it so the middle arch brick is between the two highways
