couple things, 1920x1080 is not 4k, the trigger is not for audio. it is for lowering an electric screen.

this projector has 2 HDMI ports, are they different? wut i mean is do they both support HDR and 4k enhencement ? or only the main hdmi port supports it? thanks

Just measure the length and width, afterwards use the Pythagorean theorem and figure out the diagonal distance. Excellent video. I just picked up a BenQ 2150st for gaming and I am now looking for a projector in the Dining room. Cheers from Houston!

Both models are 3D just one comes with the wireless hdmi connector although both support the wireless hdmi

I have the same projector with all new AV equipment and I'm on my 5th one due to it shuts off at around 45 min in. Have you had this happen to you?

I bought the EPSON EX-9220 and I love it... 3600 lumens can't beat that

BORICUA CHANNEL 3600 lumens- that’s really, really bright isn’t it? You could probably watch your Epson in your living room on a sunny day with the curtains open and still see the picture. 3600 lumens- man that’s a lot.

P F The world needs more smart people like you, who are looking for real, useful content, vs those who, as you put it so well, will only click on a video “because of some girl showing tits and ass.” Unfortunately, because KZread is, after all, a *visual* medium, it’s those T&A thumbnails that get the views, rather than high-quality, useful reviews on all sorts of stuff, like consumer electronics, automobiles, airline service, places to visit, etc.

Both the 5040UB and 5040UBE offer 3D output with proper glasses. Many less expensive 3D glasses can be found on Amazon or EBay.

hifijohnny After watching 3D content on a front-projected image of 120” or greater, watching the same thing on a 65” or 75” tv just isn’t the same. The 3D immersion of the large projected image can’t be beat, unless you’re talking about something like IMAX 3D.

It's a huge 4k projector that works in the day time with windows open. The picture quality was just as good at what you see at the movies. I totally would want one if I had the space to use it

The difference in the 2 projectors are the more expensive projector does wireless HDMI. They are both 3D ready.

Lance Icy Epson home Cinema 1040 can be found for 500-600 and the Epson home Cinema 2045 is around 900-1000

thank you for clearing that up, I ordered the projector espacially because of it`s 3D capacity, I haven`t received it yet. This video made me panis a bit, as none of my research ever said the 5040 UB had a non 3D version. Thank for putting my mind at easy! The video should have note about that!

hi, why yes the 5040ub is NOT 4k. you need 8.3 million pixels on sceen, this unit does NOT do that. However it does look nice. the Optoma UHD65 puts those 8.3 on sceen, just in case you did not know for 2500.

some of your comments aren't accurate about the projector. You cant pass audio out of this projector. The projector is 3d, not for just the pricer model. There are no 3d glasses in the box. Gotta get those extra.The "e" version is the more expensive model. Has only 1 hardware difference to speak of. Built in wifi module for wireless transmitting/receiving. The ub6040 is the same hardware specs with a couple of nice adds. extra year warranty, extra bulb in the box, mounting kit included and comes in black. The 6040 has to be purchased at an Epson certified partner. Wont find it at best buy or Amazon.Great projector & the faux 4k is as close as you will get to true 4k unless you want to spend around $10k

Try reading the manual before you review something. The trigger out is NOT audio, its to enable a motorized screen.. ie TRIGGER it.

epson is complete garbage and a waste of money, after a year the Auto-Iris will fail and it won't work any more leaving you with a big piece of shit paper weight. do your self a favor and buy something better like sony that has been building them for over 30 years.

Buys 4k projector... then projects on a wall that is not smooth and produces artifacts and glare... You don't even know what you're missing.
