Only @ssholes think we are under rated! Especially volunteers. It's all about working together and whoever it is that gets there to help someone, they don't care. They are just glad. Keep at it dude. Quick snippet, I am sore as hell getting access to a house and setting up a multi-brigade response with a smoke machine. After lugging a 45m 1 1/2" (38 for use not using freedom units) my good side of my back and leg are worse than my bad. Still won't give it up. We will all keep at it until we cannot, then hopefully teach those under us before we leave. Best of luck to you Ace, sorry for the ramble. We ain't alone, and to the paid staff... teach volunteers everything you can and don't look down on them. We do this in our spare time for free. It's part of the human condition to think we are 'better than others' or something? We ain't... good luck all

I've read the FD NYC has bought some robots -- wide rectangular boxes with heavy beams in front which can pick up and move cars easily. The beams slide under the cars.

A lot of elevator stuck calls. When you retire the town/city you worked for 25-30 years takes a GIANT CRAP on the retiree. BALTIMORE CITY!!!. NO SS , pay out of pocket for medicare part B, Income offset elimination rule. Pick a different profession
