Lyrics
Remember the moment
You left me alone and
Broke every promise you ever made
I was an ocean
Lost in the open
Nothing could take the pain away
So you can throw me to the wolves
Tomorrow I will come back
Leader of the whole pack
Beat me black and blue
Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne
The sticks and the stones that
You used to throw have
Built me an empire
So don't even try
To cry me a river
Cos' I forgive you
You are the reason I still fight
I'll leave you choking
On every word you left unspoken
Rebuild all that you've broken
And now you know
Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

My brothers friends sister has small cell lung cancer, doctors said she wouldn't make it the month, 4 years later after my brother told her to try fenbendazole. Same with his other friends friends wife who also had multiple myeloma, not sure which type but she's still living and doing well and that was 2 years ago. Yes it's a dog dewormer, yes I was skeptical too, but the people I seen and wittnessed were on deaths door and would've been gone already if it was for that. Read it as hogwash, but I'm not writing this for fake attention, I'm saying there is something you can do to cancer, why it's being regarded as a hoax or no acknowleged shows you how disguisting our medical system is.

This song sums-up the stoic ideal pretty effectively. Let your experiences strengthen you. I especially like the symbolism of the iron casket as a metaphor for giving oneself a living funeral. @@mcrain1283 I think most people who really empaphise with the lyrics have experienced that 'I'll show them, they'll miss me' feeling after a rough break-up (it's not a million miles away fom a twelve year old running away from home to teach his parents a lesson, also 'I'll show them, they'll miss me etc.', ). All it really means is that there's a lot of hurt and anger that hasn't been dealt with (at least not in a particularly mature way) which inevitably leads to people acting like dickheads. Listening to the lyrics (there are a few mentions of the sticks and stones/ pain he's suffered) it's fairly clear the song is fuelled by a sense of defiant spite. Not something that anyone should glorify and certainly nothing like stoicism. Still, it's a decent tune

Epril SiDragøn That's the only way bands can survive is if they evolve. Several of the punk bands from the early 2000s changed their style...and those that didn't practically vanished. Sum 41, Story of the Year and Simple Plan come to mind. They definitely started putting out harder stuff.

Epril SiDragøn they cant win though cant please everyone...look at linkin park i love their old stuff but not huge fan of the new stuff but i have huge respect for them for doing their own thing and not conforming to what everyone else wants and also alot of bands change their sound due to the vocalist starting to fuck their throats from screaming, i believe thats what happened with A7X and i think that was part of the reason for LP and also for these guys ive only just really got into BMTH but im sure i heard somewhere that his voice was starting to get wrecked.

For me Sept. was a dark album full of dark thoughts and deep emotions. It showed the growth of Oliver and the band. Yes through out the makong of the album Oli was going to rehab for drug problems which he admited. And when he came out he needed an out let. It was a dsrk time for him. But I feel this new album shows how much he has to look forword too. Its like. HEY BLOODY FUCK OFF IM DOING GOOD. Right? I mean it sounds amazing it sounds like another therepy session that doesnt rely on the darker tones. the deeper beats. Yea its the same "sound" but its generated to be more postive. And I feel like jts cause of us. I never knew about BMTH other then Chelsea smile. I think... "ive got a secret its on the tip of my tounge on the back of my lungs" .... that song. But anyways I digress. When Sempt. came out It truly changed the entire face of the band. They where no longer classifide as deathcore. they hit the street hard and hustled and grinded and through inner deamons produced a work of art that im almost one hundred percent sure any one can say " yea I moshed to that" or" bmth is comong. I guess ill see them they anrt like lets get high and throw fire works in the mosh" no they changed. And this album. Its because of us. We pushed for Sempt to be heard. We pushed the band to express them selves. And now. We helped push some of those deamons under the water and held them so they cant swim. We forced oli and the band to sit nd think about what they wanted to sound like. They had there hit. Now its time to top it and not be a glorified jerk about it. Because the Oli before Sempt would have abused the new power he has but not anymore. He has a path that he is taking. Except this time he isnt doing it alone he has an army behind him of a thousand voices. Who arnt afraid to feel pain regret dosgust or even fear of not being heard. Because when we scream . We scream together and its time to sing about something happy.
