Tannehill does not know Miamis scheme bro. He didn’t play for Flo or McDaniel. I think he should come back but it has nothing to do with familiarity with scheme or system

I’m 67 years old and was nine years old in 66 and was excited that Florida had pro sports team. I watched all six preseason games and regular season games on tv. They really struggled before Coach Shula was hired and kids made jokes about me being a diehard Dolfan before jumping on the bandwagon. So I’ve been a fan going on 58 years now. Go Fins

yes, think what you will about Tannehill, and he was no where near elite... But for someone who played WR all through college, to be drafted at QB (I agree he was drafted way too high, but not his fault) and to have a somewhat succesfull career where other, higher hyped QB's have flamed out ( I am looking at you, RGB, and Brady Quinn) I think he has done well enough. He would CLEARLY be an upgrade over what we have. As long as it was made clear to Tannehill, THE MEDIA, and the whole team, that he is here for a backup role ONLY. Then I would be OK, Who knows, if Tua gets banged up, Tannehill may be our Don Strock!! Besides, it would make for a cool story if he could win a SB with the team who drafted him.

Well, he did go to Tennessee as a backup, then took the job with a losing record and go them into the playoffs. Year after that, #1 seed; and that's with no Derrick Henry for MOST of the season. 🤷
