Horrific, just horrific...
Season 3, Episode 6
Gordon travel to a `high end' husband and wife run Bistro in Lighthouse Point, Florida. Stubborn Scottish dictatorial chef and owner Andy has cooked for celebrated chefs in the past, but since opening Le Bistro has lost his passion for cooking and doesn't listen to anyone. With customers grading his food 3/10, and Andy not responding well to criticism, can Gordon get him to listen?

One of the few episodes where Gordon doesn't slam the prep work, walk-in freezer, or general cleanliness of the restaurant.
1000% believe that man has put hands on his wife in the past. Not only her demeanor of never challenging him but also saying his food is the best but based off looking at her she knows he’s the problem but can’t say it. Then the comment “I would stop right there if I were you and go away”. Idk gives me the same vibes I witnessed my mom going through in a similar situation. Hopefully she leaves his ass.

One thing I’ve always respected about Gordon is there was a guy that you could tell grew up in aboose on his Hell’s Kitchen episode and he not broke down but broke down due to the name calling. like wouldn’t even look at Gordon. As a single dad with two teenage girls, it hurt my soul to see Andy in so much pain and his wife and staff treated so badly. When Gordon said he would wipe the slate clean, I had tears in my eyes.
One of the few episodes that the owner really changed. I’m happy this place is still open with great reviews. He really respected Gordon in the end and knew he could do better
This is such a great series! At first, Andy appeared unfriendly, but a camaraderie was in the making as Gordon hung in there - I'm so glad he did! It was so incredible, by the show's end, Andy's face was shining, you could tell he'd let go of a lot of uptight defensiveness that had been bogging him down/ Plus, the customers were totally impressed! For all those wondering, last time I looked it up which wasn't long ago, chef Andy is still going strong and his restaurant is still open so he must have learned something from Gordon.
