I think the biggest issue is no one else can do what Kamara does. Everyone needs to help but, it also curtails what they do best. Its difficult and the only real way to fix it is to get a cdm similar to Kamara. We may need to add Tim in and hope Youri comes back asap and stays injury free to help us. The injuries and games have truly caught up with us but, the players have given everything. Im so proud of them and what theyve achieved UTV 💜💙

We need something else next season. Kamara is great but his injury record means he can’t be relied on. I’d rather have a player that gives us 10% less in that position but stays fit & means we can keep playing the way we want to play

@@mattp7140 I agree we need something the rumour to Fofana is definately one that I would want. I disagree with the injury record for Kamara, only in that, his first big injury was due to a bad tackle and an ACL injury can happen to anyone e.g. Mings, Buendia, Zaniolo. Injuries happen in sport but we do need somone so we can add the attributes to the team/system/tactics

Agree. Even a backslide into 5th and the Europa league is still commendable progress in Emery's second year and fans should be very pleased! The summer recruitment is a fascinating prospect. We seem to be leveling up and some players who have been great servants might have to be moved on. Villa haven't been as attractive a club in 20 years. Players around the world will see a club on its way up and hopefully will want to be part of the process. 💜💙

100% agree with your thoughts on the 2nd leg, before the first leg of the tie I thought we’d win 2-0 or 3-0, so there’s no reason at all why we can’t achieve that scoreline in the away tie. Keep the faith, trust the team. UTV…great podcast mate, keep it up 👍

Totally agree Luke about it being half time. For all the negativity I bet nobody has cancelled their flight and hotel!! Be interesting to see what he does tomorrow and I do prefer Konsa now as right back, though I didn't at first. If we get a result tomorrow and CL is confirmed, I would consider putting Tim in that defensive midfield role with Luiz, I'd like to see him for a longer spell and see if he can perform, especially as McGinn can't contain himself from going forward. My take on the Olympiakos away leg is that if we can go to the Emirates and win 0-2, no reason why we can’t win by 2 or 3 there. Not necessarily saying I am confident we will, but I am firmly in the camp of thinking that it is totally possible. Game on!

Cash doesn't work with Diaby behind Watkins but he does work when a player like Mcginn plays there because Diaby likes to overlap and underlap with Bailey, with Cash he has to stay more central which needs physicality and a lot of defensive work.

Villa are a much better team than Olympiakos and I feel although they were a good team on the night, Villa played bad and they were lucky. Get two goals at their ground, even go to penalties and we have Emi. Still think we can overcome them. UTV. Spurs are not going to beat Man City, I think they will struggle to overcome Liverpool at Anfield so very confident about CL.

Cash’s determination got us the equaliser in qtr final 2nd leg and first goal on Thursday. He was our best and most committed player on Thursday, I reckon. So get McGinn (or Tielamans) to do more of a Kamara role instead (as you mentioned) and utilise Cash’s assets 👍

Zaniolo left (allows you to change up thr game more) and Rogers centre for me Luke in the next 2. Diaby vs Brighton right and rest Bailey for the 2nd leg so hes ready to put the burners on and scare them early doors. Also - the strapping 😱

I watched the game friday and thought they where the better side but we did suffer from the refereeing, certain penalty for sure. But i wasnt deflated after because it is only half time and in a strange way, going after two goals could be better than going for one because we cant take out foot off the gas at all . I really feel we can come back from this. I feel st least another penalty shootout. If we clean up 4th place tomorrow then we have a free run in this competition. All is not lost. I feel we will win tomorrow against Brighton so its all on the Liverpool/ Spurs game ....What a position to be in. UTV

I think one thing unai struggles with is horses for courses... If were missing martinez and Tielemans/kamara we surely have to play a bit more direct. Olsen isnt up to the standard for playing out from the back and it negatively effects the defensive confidence.. Its been evident in the chelsea 2nd half and on Thursday.. Also john mcginn doesnt have the touch or passing range for that central role. Hes much better further up the pitch using his energy and getting on the turn, but needs must at present.. But surely this means our style needs to slightly adapt to the personal we have available

Duran And Iroegbuham Need to play tomorrow. Duran has energy and can really cause that shaky Brighton back line some problems. Tim is a proper cdm who has that psyicality and understands the role he can do a job to replace Karama. Digne has to come out the side unfortunately he ain't got the legs and he gets beat so many times on that left side. Cash needs to come out as well he can't play anyone Offside to save his life If we win and Tottenham lose top 4 and champions league football is ours. The players already let us down once this week this is there chance to redeem themselves Let's go get champions league football 👊

Also a big factor next Thursday is what Ref we get, we all know Europe hate the Premier league and love it that we are the only team left and clearly won’t want us winning the conference league

Brighton good side that I respect but this should be comfortable win, with our record against Brighton and how good Brighton are I feel like a day will come when Brighton get the better of us but with their injuries I don't thnk this will be it. Hope Watkins gets his 20th. Important thing will be for our guys to recover. Potentially we can lock up top 4 here and if we win this we can sack off the rest of the Premier League and throw EVERYTHING at turning around that Olympiacos tie, not easy but confident we can do it!! Agree on the Konsa thing Luke even though i also prefer him at CB. It's not just that We're more solid with him at RB, Cash still struggles to hold the line foe offside traps. You can't panic when your trying it, you have to teust rhe system and risk a player getting in behind you.

I think main focus has to be on the goal first, and get momentum of the game

I want to believe we will win tomorrow. However recent performances havent been great the players look tired and seem to have no idea how to defend. While this is not the Brighton of last season they are no mugs only a professional and controlled perfomance will get us a result a win would be superb a draw isn’t the end of the world but it leaves us still probably needing at least a win to make sure of fourth.

Voice sounds better in this one we still got 90 mins to to show what we got

I feel the same just got this picture in my mind of us celebrating at full time after getting to the final .. if you think about it they didnt have many shots on target and they all went in and including the penalty ...and the ref was awful next one cant be that bad surely ! if baileys goal at the start would of stood it could of been a differnt game and i can see us scoring early or first at least ... martinez might be back and he will refuse to lose .. in unai we trust UTV

Too lightweight in midfield and Bailey Ollie Morgan Diaby luiz isn’t going to help defensively against a packed press midfield, felt unai tactically was off it but we are desperately needing a few class players that are athletic

When we play a front 4, mcginn needs to sit and rogers needs to come deeper almost as an mf.

Brighton is winnable for sure but I fear we are running on fumes and with a depleted squad to rotate players before and during games. Brighton is a big game now - they all are at this stage I know - but beat Brighton away and Spurs need to win the majority of their remaining games to grab 4th place. Lose it and Villa give Spurs hope and incentive. Spurs are an enigma because they can be brilliant but like Villa, they concede too many goals. Here's hoping this season doesn't fizzle out. UTV

Players take praise so they can take criticism, need players that can press and hurry and close down we need two for next season and a left winger and a million percent a centre mid bastard!

Agree players are out of position and Dougie has been good most of the season, however everything he is doing at the moment is bad, passing especially, penalty miss, ok he usually scores but his whole game has gone downhill. Players have bad periods and Dougie is having one for sure. Games without him in the team recently have looked better. Give him a rest for the next game, see what happens, let him get some fitness back he played a lot of games this year, both on the pitch and more recently in the bedroom ..... UTV ;)

Diaby gets worse and worse and worse. He's dreadful
