She was going to loose it anyway & may have already started. For many ppl undergoing treatment for cancer if hair loss is a side effect they may find it easier to have it shaved (they are in control) vs loosing it gradually falling out in clumps in shower, waking up to it all over your pillow… hope no one minds me answering I’m a former oncology nurse until 8 years ago when I had stroke.
