Bought a set of Skil 20V tools and they´re amazing!

the only issue I have found with them is it's extremely hard to find tool only versions of their tool. I don't need 6 chargers. I bought the impact and then decided to get the drill after the fact and I had to buy both as kits with a charger. Almost none of the brushless tools come outside of a kit. It doesn't make sense for them to advertise their 20v system if you can't buy tool only versions to expand your library.

are the bosch batteries compatible? i know with the previous 20v max skil range the batteries where the same as the bosch one when they owned them i guess,thank you

You are absolutely correct when I found my heavy duty half inch combo with the impact it took me forever because the listings are terribly disorganized... Pictures don't match up and don't forget you can't find Pwrcore 20 volt batteries on Amazon either womp womp

The multitool has been terrific! Unfortunately, though after using both circular saws for a while, I'm a bit disappointed at both, not sure if I received bad eggs or not, but they often pause half way through a 2x4, with a full charged battery. Not sure why yet.

@@EricKas I just bought a combo kit with the heavy duty hammer drill and impact. It's the switching I'm not sure of the technical term but whenever the battery is discharging at a certain point it pauses.Release the trigger depress the trigger again and it will start with no problem. This is a safety mechanism for the voltage and current running freely (wildly) while not in use. Pro tool reviews gives a very good explanation on this and there are a few other channels that go into it as well

any experience with Skil 12v?

Would these be good for a young stair carpenter who may possible use the tools everyday for driving and driving recip cutting and jig saw cutting

100% i use them almost every day i have most of the tools even the cordless mitre saw they are perfect in do mostly hardwood flooring
