I'm sorry but Anthony lagging after seeing Kate doing normal things like stepping on mud, is the funniest thing I've ever seen in a period drama. It's very entertaining, seeing Anthony a 'rake' with capital R as the author called him, being completely head over heels over a woman who's exactly like him and even bolder and straight forward.

Just a random fun fact (or maybe not) Probably it is normal for us these days to step on the mud as a lady but during their time, I think it is scandalous for a woman to lift her dress and show her ankles in public, let alone in front of a man..that's why Anthony lagged because he was like "DIS BISSSHH DAREDD!!"
