This episode was my favourite of the first part. Colin's nervousness, his yearning and jealousy and the awkwardness under the willow tree. It was so beautiful!

ive seen tweets of someone saying this, but I think Colin has always had feelings for Penelope, at least emotionally cuz the looks that he is giving her this season arent that different from the looks he gave her in previous seasons. i think that kiss linked his physical connection to her and he finally realized he has feelings for her

They are adorable and have a very good chemistry. Colin is hilariously unhinged after their kiss, he's down bad.

I love that Colin’s the one being so extra in his dreams. Not just wham bam kiss me ma’am but he sets a SCENE! Fog! Giant burning braziers! A gentle breeze! Roses climbing the garden walls! Penelope wearing a cute robe with a sash he can easily untie! His subconscious put in the DETAILS!

@@iamrachelrach I felt it had to be Colin's dream the second Penelope spoke to him. Dream feelings confession: she gasps gently and her eyes widen and she immediately professes to feel the same! Actual feelings confession: she's wearing a tear-smeared scowl, is absolutely furious with him, and her first response is a flat "what." We love a contrast of fantasy vs. reality! XD

This season reminds me a bit of PERSUASION by Jane Austen. With Penelope as Anne, and Colin as Captain Wentworth. Some. A little. The upper crust had income from land alone, and investments. They did not do trade. If you were in trade and had inherited an estate much less a title, you were expected to divest yourself of such. Not everyone did. But they were socally looked down upon.

They were land owners. That’s how they made money. They rented land other ppl. They also grew crops n raised animals like sheep, cattle, etc. Also these r just their London homes, hey have country homes/estates. ❤ watching your reactions. So fun!!!

The food that colin is eating is the same cupcake that Penelope bought,so he bought 1 as well,so then he could taste what Penelope was eating, but we only see the last piece of him eating by the wat he licks his finger, just before the 2 gentlemen talk to him.
