Cressida's mother had ink on her arms like Penelope did earlier, showing us that she was the one who wrote the Lady Whistledown announcement and NOT Cressida.😊

Oooh. I was kind of confused because they showed the ink in her arm not in her hand (now that I think about it, she was wearing gloves 😅)

It's not ink , it's bruises from her husband,ie cowpers husband. People think it's the Queens right arm, but it's Mrs cowpers right arm, with bruises on it.he could have taken his anger with his wife, when he got banished from his club.

Yes, but they could’ve given a 5 second flashback to provide context for the brother’s impact on the situation. That wasn’t in Queen Charlotte.

Lady Danbury was 16, when she married someone, who was old enough to be her father/ grandfather, and her brother was only 10 at the time.

All the "extra" lines in the plot are hints of what will happen next. 8 episodes of Colin breathing fire and Penelope in panic attacks would kill even fans.

I’m SO glad someone else picked up on the potential OUAT parallel between Regina/Agatha and Snow/Marcus!

All Eloise's efforts to "change the world" come down only to the fact that she does not get married and talks and envies (as Pen and Cressida correctly put it). In turn, everyone to whom she has complaints is trying to fight the way the world works for women of that time.. She didn't understand Pen's feelings for Colin for so many years because she's fixated on herself. And when Crissida came to the edge of the abyss, Eloise didn't give a damn about it.. She was furious that Pen wasn't following her lead. Stupid idealism and egocentrism prevented her from understanding the reason why Pen wrote such a thing all this time.. What kind of friendship is this? She was friends with a weak person. A disenfranchised girl. For which, of all the means at that time, only the word was available.. and a weak person can do more harm surreptitiously than a strong one in the open.. When your friend is openly idealistic, you can't open up to him.. which Pen did. She was silent about who she was..
