I live in Bridgeland! Good job on explaining it! I also went to Pope Elementary as a kid and right now go to Smith MS which is not in Bridgeland but across the entrance and I will be moved to the new Bridgeland Middle School next school year.

Just don't feed the ducks or the Bridgeland HOA will sue you for $275K and you might lose your house like they did to that other poor elderly couple (and the husband had MS!). Worst HOA in Houston - good luck.

Better have flood insurance. You have been warned. Outstanding area. Just make sure you are covered.
After a lot of research, this video definitely helped us understand why Bridgeland is the best place to purchase. Now we have our closing by the end of the month

This is the HOA that sued a poor elderly couple (the husband had MS) for $275K for feeding the ducks. Yep, you heard that right - for feeding ducks. Something that people do at every single park/pond/community in America. But this HOA used abuse of power to enforce this and it cost this couple their home. Yep, they lost their home. So unless you want to be harassed for every single thing you do by cowards that hide behind three letters - don't move here! I bet they are so proud of themselves! I wonder if their families and relatives are? #abuseofpower #houstonliving #bridgelandtexas #KathleenRowe
