Apart from the content of the podcast, it's amazing how softly he speaks.

Hats off to this guy - when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade was the secret of some of his success in rural Ghana.

Having seen too many podcasts by now. I think this is one of the most naturally flowing ones with great followup questions depending on the previous answers and it felt so smooth and natural. Great quality content i would say. Something really calming about shivani and how she frames the questions. Very comforting.

This is the most heartfelt podcast I've ever seen. For someone who loved love to becoming someone who is now so frightened of it. This video lights a little spark in my heart. Love is clearly to be embraced and not feared. Congratulations, @vishalpunjabi, on finding love. I love this video. Thank you both for having made this. And KZread algorithm or destiny or perhaps the Ambani wedding drama that I found this. Love and light to everyone in love out of love and learning to love again.❤

This was such an amazing interview as Vishal has shared his life journey it sounded so beautiful. That all pain & struggle seems healed. Lovely conversation the questions were just right to ask the answers were just filled with real deep insights! I thoroughly enjoyed it till the end. Also when he mentioned about the sensitivity about Man that they often get misunderstood and don't really get chances to tell their story. I can feel that pain for a man ❤ Wishing you a blessed and happy married life and loads of success! Great efforts Shivani amazing narrative & work 👏!

This was an eye opener!.. Didn't knew this man has shallow views for Indian traditional customs that are done in most of Indian weddings. The way he is mocking important customs like Kanyadaan and Gur-chadai only shows how irrelevant he is to Indian weddings. No wonder he himself is divorced and has a playboy history wherever he lived for 2 years.😅 ...Somebody saying having a pregnant girlfriend is not a good enough reason for marriage, only shows what his life principles are.Thanks for showing his real face.😂

Sikh hai, kya hi expect karoge,.. He didn’t tell you that there are matrilineal families in Kerala, mostly Kerala Brahmins. In many coastal communities there is no dowry system. Dowry exists among all religions actually, as long as it’s an arranged marriage.

He says he didnt get a chance to explain as generally men are at fault when theres a divorce but he named his ex wife and said she cheated on him and he was working on the relationship on a public platform. Amazing😂

A very interesting insight into the brilliance behind the man who brings emotions in weddings to life. Also you’re amazing at navigating the interview to bring out his authentic self in this interview.

Not heard of this gentleman prior to this podcast. What a delight he is. Name me any woman who did not fall in love with him after this interview.

That comment of choosing to be with the person you’ve married even if you want to throw them off a building made by Vishal is so true. Love is indeed a choice and not a feeling. That’s often the mistake that people make. If they don’t feel the butterflies they felt during their courtship period they think they relationship ain’t working. There are genuine deal breakers. However, those who want the marriage to work need to put in an equal amount of work to keep the relationship alive.

Like? I love this chat! I chanced upon this one, this has really taken me by surprise. Never knew Vishal Punjabi has so much of history & geography to his life ;) Entire chat is lovely but the real scoop starts from 52:00-56:00 that blew my mind :)) Btw, Belated Happy Birthday, Vishal! & Thank you Shivani for doing this :)

I had to stop the video and write this comment. They mentioned love and, religion and customs as separate entities. I beg to differ. A marriage has lots to do with family, values and traditions (because wedding itself is traditions or else live-in works for some). Also, Kanya Daan is not handing over control, rather lovingly guiding one's daughter to her new roles and responsibilities (like every adult should for the society to continue functioning) and doing so sacrificing a father's selfish love for his daughter. Kanya Daan is considered the pious of all sacrifices parents make. Of course in this day and age and technology everyone is closer and connected. No one really loses touch with anyone and are financially well off and capable to take care of multiple people. But this tradition is beautiful as it signifies the love and sacrifices of parents and also a young woman who is going to take on new responsibilities.

Saw this on the reel and immediately came to KZread to find the whole video. Really nice. Would love to connect with you some time and I’m too into the creative field !

Kanyadaan is the essence of Indian marriage, its the most misunderstood ritual,it was meant as a "Daan" act of charity to the boys family, because women were given a very high status in Vedic culture, but over centuries has morphed and become a burden, its actually an act of special donation to the groom.

No, in my mother’s wedding her grandfather did kanyadaan and he said to my father that she will always be my daughter first whatsoever, I don’t care how, but when I call and she wants to come back, she should never be stopped. If you honour that then only marry my daughter. My father kept that promise and whenever we would get call from her father, in good times, in bad times, my father would drive us there without any hesitation….

Kanya daan doesn't mean giving away your daughter.... it means I am doing a favor (daan) by giving you my daughter take care of her.... here daan means upkaar like rakt daan

This man seems to be such a class liar.. I could smell lies when he talked about his ex wife and kind of threw her under the bus for the separation.. and then his first meeting with his now wife seems to be too Bollywood dreamy sequence to be true.. finally, he could come back to India because of SRK and did not even stick around with him for a moment.. that blows my mind !

Renewal of Visa is a basic rule to follow. And when an individual does not get renewal and they are deported for the same. He says they just made a huge thing about it? Sir, the rules are made for our convenience, you just follow the rules and not make a huge deal about it.

Kanyadaan is not giving away your daughter to the other family. It is giving away of the gotra(the lineage you are born under) of the parents' family & accepting the gotra of the husband's family coz you will be carrying the boy:s family name ahead. People without knowledge have misinterpreted the word Kanyadaan into literal translation of the word. Please be educated about your own customs & traditions.

Mr. Punjabi,you haven't been to a real Goan Christian wedding. We have a beautiful church ceremony with vows and blessings. At the receptionist we do have the cutting of the wedding cake with raising of the toast to the couple speeches and dancing and partying.

P.S. : About Kanyadaan, it's been misinterpreted, Kanyadaan is about the Kanya ( bride) Daan ( donating ) her gitra back to her parents because she is going to adapt her husband's family gotra. Also , I don't see anything wrong in apologising to the guests that is the groom side if there has been any error in the hosting , we all do in our day today lives infact even the Ambanis did that . If we can see beauty in multiple divorces and yet coming back together , I think the perception has to be applied in our customs as well ❤❤❤. Best wishes .
