As a full figured lady i love these ladies and the way they encourage the ladies to feel confident and beautiful in their wedding dresses.

50 yo and I had this at 22. I COMPLETELY understand her situation. I was married 9 months when I was diagnosed. Still married. 28 years this past June 2023. You can DO THIS!! I STILL struggle sweetheart. It's a life journey.

That family friend who lost a bunch of weight... The new dress they found for her... absolutely gorgeous! I usually don't imagine myself in any of the dresses I see on this show, but that's one that I'd wear! They're all such beautiful brides! 💖🙏

I wish people didn’t feel so pressured to find the “perfect” dress. There’s no perfect dress, just the one we’re satisfied with. Jo and Al aren’t pressuring them. It’s just a general thing. Sigh.

I simply loved Charlene's dress. It was absolutely perfect for her. I am glad she got her mom's approval!

That beautiful pocket dress is so flattering no matter who wears it-- I love seeing it again every time a bride chooses it.

I love these two women. I like that the brides don’t bring tons of people with them.

I've seen every episode of this show available on KZread, and though the brides are all beautiful, Natalie is easily the most stunning to me. Something about her makes me think of Jennifer Connelly in Labrynth. She has that starry-eyed look. I've never seen that in anyone else.

Jo & Al, you are fabulous at what you do. I love how you bring the best out of the brides, the gowns are beautiful. I would recommend you tell the brides to hold their bouquets lower so we can see more of her.

That design with the cross body rushing and sleeves is my favourite design I’ve seen on the show. It looked so wonderful on the bride, so flattering.

That Pink DRESS BEAUTIFUL ON HER!!

I don’t think Jo was upset with her losing weight, she just knew that the dress was not going to fit right if alterations were done on it. Notice she just happened to have a size 12 hanging around that was close to the same style. She was looking out for Rebecca, without pulling punches.

I stay in awe how beautiful these brides are firstly in the face, then hair. Everyone.

Heidi looked amazing in her dress.

This is such a soul affirming program! Makes you smile inside out!

That last groom looked just thrilled to see his bride. And I loved his brown suit. He definitely has style. The bride was the reason his face was slight. Beautiful couple.

I felt so sorry for the girl who lost the weight. She had achieved a great result, only to be flattened by a negative result. Her dream dress didn’t fit!!!! And that was so stressful too because she had to like the second dress!!!!

I feel weddings are such a waste of money But… women have been trained from birth to want a wedding and I support them for it. I love watching curvey SYTTD and ladies you all all so beautiful 💖

I'm frequently amazed that so many women claim to be lacking in confidence, yet they can be wooed & proposed to by men who love them. Wasn't that process enough of a confidence booster? Understanding that there are multiple levels of personality that affects that trait, yet, it hurts to see them struggle with the acceptance of looking in the mirror. Who do they think their sweethearts saw?

Her mom was a total narccisit. SHe tortured her for months over the dress, causing tears (narccicistic supply), then only gave her approval at the last minute when the cameras were rolling, commenting on how it was so important to BOTH of them that the mom apporved of the dress. Any normal mom would love a dress that makes her daughter feel beautiful. Lastly, she wore a WHITE deress with a bridal headpiece to her own daughter's wedding. That woman sould've never become a mother.

They were just being honest and real. It's great she loves the body she has not but look at it from the consultant's point of view. They need to figure out how to fix that. And I think they did a great job. Her second dress was far more beautiful

Every time I see a mother of a bride on these shows it just reenforces that if I do ever get married it'll just be signing papers at the courthouse. What is it about weddings that bring out the absolute worst in mothers?

I altered a strapless, boned bustier US sized 12 wedding dress down to a 6 over a year of the bride losing weight. I had to completely disassemble and reassemble it many times.

Some mothers need to shut up and let their daughter decide,for herself, it’s her day. To that mother who was still cross even at the fitting, I,would like to tell you Wthat my daughter was stillborn and I will never get to go wedding dress shopping with her let alone see her get married. Please be grateful for what you have and keep,your own options to yourself, it’s your daughter’s day, not yours..

Since when do mothers think they dictate what the bride wears…even if they pay for the dress…it is NOT their dress
