Gaslighting is knowingly manipulating someone by using psychological methods to get them to question their own sanity or powers of reasoning. Vera make a mistake and admitted the bride was right. 100% not gaslighting.

Proving the customer wrong is nonsense. Better: "It is supposed to have a sweetheart neckline? Let me check that for you."

Second bride’s dress was horrible, imo

i don't like Justin's initial wording of his appraisal of the first dress (especially as the groom's brother), but i can definitely appreciate the way he told her how he felt about the second one. the way he was talking about her needing to be the spotlight was sweet 💜

First bride picked well with that first dress over the “flashy” dress. The second bride’s pick was horrible already and the sweetheart neckline really wasn’t gonna fix the design. It’s not flattering on her….

There was no saving it. It made her look bulky and the netting should be more close fitting, just didn't work at all. Beautiful girl btw, just not the right dress

Last bride. Wrong dress was ordered. Why do I suspect that the cost of correcting the neckline will somehow be absorbed in the total cost of alterations? 🧐

Vera was so unprofessional with the dress that had to be altered. You would expect something better than this from Kleinfelds. Even the final dress was clearly altered poorly. I feel for that poor bride.

With technology today, always take pictures of the dress you select so you can see if it’s the same one you get when it’s made. Gorgeous dresses!

The second bride's dress looks like a homemade dress made by someone just learning to sew. I don't think I've ever seen such a horrible looking dress from Kleinfields! I can't believe they'd sell such a thing!

If I were to get married I'd be torn between way more than two dresses... there are so many lovely dresses out there it's simply hard to choose the best one👰‍♀

Unless you have that perfect body type, I sure don't, some styles immediately become evident that they don't suit you. So once you narrow down silhouette, then it's budget, trimmings, and venue. I'd never want the naked Pnina corset top look, so forget that group etc.

I am so sorry, but I have to say bride2 picked out the most unflattering dress I've seen in a while. Cannot believe they couldn't have chosen better the first time...this looked like something I could have sewn, and I'm a REALLY bad seamstress.

If the dress isn’t altered you can resell it at a consignment bridal store or consignment bridal website.

Not in this specific context -- he gave her good, straightforward advice as she trusted he would. Good as her figure was, that second dress was wearing HER and the (lack of a) neckline was the first and really only thing you saw. Splendid for Oscar night, not so great for a wedding. Of the two choices, this bride picked the right dress.

I've suddenly realized why I like the older say yes videos more than newer ones even if I like the dresses in new ones more... It's the people... The brides specifically, stupid... They look like real people not insta models... Even the beautiful ones...

Can’t she have 2 dresses? I can’t believe she won’t wear it for part of the wedding. I would feel so warm and happy if she donated the dress she doesn’t like to someone who is low income or military or deserves a beautiful dress but absolutely can’t afford much.

Sarah's made the right call with her dress, she looked stunning in it! However, what is wrong with vera! gaslighting the second bright and even asking her after she found out she was wrong (and not apologising) she then says to the bride "are you sure you like the sweetheart" like vera, YES! Do your job!

I have to say that I was disappointed at Vera for her behaviour with the client. Trying to prove the bride wrong is not the way to go, even if the bride was mistaken, which she wasn't. I have never felt that way before about the alterations staff, as they have to deal with many brides with different personalities, but I guess that it goes to show that we are all human.

So true as picking a husband is so much more important than a one time dress.

Dress designers should make more dresses that are modest so you don't end up with the second dress. Not everyone can wear strapless comfortably.

The gown she already has (picture with the black chair) is more glamorous than either of the two she tried on here.

The second bride's dress was ugly af (the one that arrived, not the one she originally chose). There's nothing more frustrating than someone telling you that you didn't order what you know you ordered. Instead of trying to accommodate and make the PAYING CUSTOMER happy, Vera is more concerned with being right. I'm surprised she still has her job. I know she's an amazing seamstress, but her personality is abrasive when she thinks the bride is wrong.

If the dress was supposed to have a sweetheart, I bet Vera's team had to correct it for free or cheap. I bet that's why she was so adamant about checking into it... she didn't want her team just taking on a free alteration bc a bride claimed it was so. Obviously, I don't know for certain. But Vera strikes me as a true professional who wouldn't just be petty bc of a difficult bride... she's seen it all this point!

I think I would have to add a blingy belt, however, just to match the headpiece...and that would be just enough...

second one was better, it has such a elegant feminine look. the first is too plain and doesn't suit her. @4:23 you can see how much better the dress on the right looks. i have similar problem sometimes, struggling to choose between 2 (or more!) things. i usually feel if i can't choose, it's because neither are quite right. i dont understand why in these shows, they will go back and forth between a couple dresses instead of just trying something else entirely.

Both women made a huge mistake IMO. Sara needed to pick the new dress. It killed me. She didn't get it. It looked so amazing on her. Just amazing. I want to say a few words in defense of the dress of the second bride. I like this dress and the design - but in the photo, where it looks the way it should look according to the designer's idea. Conversely, it looks terrible on this bride: thanks to the large breasts, lack of waist, wide and full shoulders, the top of the dress looks like a regular T-shirt! The design of the dress is completely crossed out, it absolutely does not suit the body type of this bride! But she demands from Vera the same look that the dress has in the photo! And what could Vera do? She tried... Unfortunately, women often don't understand the difference between a dress they like and a dress that suits them! Many women believe that if you wear a dress they like, you automatically become a beauty, regardless of the design and size of the dress! And when their appearance in the mirror does not satisfy them, then for some reason others become guilty, and not themselves. Dear women, when choosing a dress, please keep in mind that the design of the dress should correspond to the features of your figure

This bride had proportional breasts with her body and they’re not saggy like most brides to be so she’d look great in both. It’s a matter of preference.
