A ‘spectacle’ she’s created! From the dress, to the veil, to the Queen for not giving Meghan free access to the tiaras cuz M&H couldn’t be trusted, to bullying Charlotte, making Princess Catherine cry, to only inviting her mother as her sole family, dropping Doria off in the back of the chapel so she could have the solo entrance, and then filling the seats with celebrities she didn’t know, and having only ‘new friends’ at the reception! One person put that ‘spectacle’ into motion, and that’s Meghan (backed up by her ‘groomzilla’, Harry). Now, as we all know, she wasn’t being a crazed ‘bridezilla’ she was just showing everyone who she really was. The RF needs to keep them out of the UK , and if Harry’s family ever does interact with her or him I’d advise guards and never leave them unsupervised.

@@maryriley8077 That 'spectacle' comment was a real kick in the teeth to both British taxpayers and the people who had turned out on the day, and without the latter that wedding would have been flat. I suspect that Markle's disgraceful comment may have been 'narc revenge'. When she and Harry left the UK, we did criticise them for running off a mere 20 months after their eye-wateringly expensive wedding. She bit back very quickly, saying that the wedding had brought money into the economy, so our criticism did register with her. It's clear from her overall behaviour that she bears grudges and cannot let go of slights, so it's possible that the 'spectacle' comment was payback.

I thought Olivia's dress looked better close up than far away. Loved the shoes and the open back. The only thing I disliked was the veil attached to her hair and not the tiara. If there's any kind of headpiece, I think the veil looks best attached to it, rather than just stuck on the back of the head.

The only thing that would have improved Meg’s dress is if she hadn’t worn it at all. Her showing up overly decked out in an ill fitting blazingly white dress with that ridiculously long veil was an insult to the queen and inappropriate for a divorcee. The best thing about Olivia’s dress was the genuine smile she wore with it unlike Meghan’s smirk. Oh - and Olivia’s flowers were gorgeous. A+ all around.

The House of Dior was cheapened, in my eye by MM’s poorly executed gown. If she had shown them some pictures, or had them do some sketches of her dream gown and the overall impression she had wanted, I’m sure the final product would have been lovely, and had actually suited her shape. Olivia Henson's dress was simply gorgeous and she looked so beautiful in it. The train and dress matched so perfectly. Olivia looked so graceful and happy.

Pale blue satin shoes would have been perfect but the clunky blue velvet shoes she chose spoilt the look, imo.

Olivia's dress, tiara and veil were stunning, but what caught my eye was her bouquet. Lately, it seems like so many royal brides have opted for tiny bouquets with very little color. It was nice to see a big(but not monstrous), colorful bridal bouquet with such lovely flowers. The pastel colored flowers were a pleasure for the eyes.

The bride wore LL Bean Duck Boots with her wedding gown. I thought it was adorable. Later, at the indoor reception, she did wear lovely "bridal" pumps in white.

This was not a royal wedding and traditionally, royal brides have pale bouquets. They also always have a sprig of myrtle. This is a tradition from Victorian times.

I don't know what people are smoking, but Olivia's dress looks NOTHING like Rachel's. Olivia's dress has a 1930's vibe that I absolutely love! The cut, the fabric, the flow.... So classic. Topped off with her beautiful, radiant, genuine smile. Rachel's dress....well, uh.....not so much. I was so disappointed when I woke up at 3 am to watch that stiff, heavy, dowdy dress walk down the aisle. What a let down. And her Cheshire cat grin.... Ewwww, I shudder! 😖😬

I like the dress. Not frumpy, but lovely. And, a lovely, happy bride.

Olivia's dress was lovely, she looked happy, and in love. The photo of her with the veil was perfect.

BEEBS! One can't compare that awful ill fitted monstrosity Duchess Dog Biscuits wore to that of the elegant Olivia's. I thought Olivia's dress was absolutely gorgeous, classy, elegant and timeless. I thought her choice of shoes was absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! And talk about so much more comfortable given the block heel. Her hair and makeup was stunning. Cast your thoughts back to Duchess Dog Biscuits hair on her wedding day - horrendous with the pieces falling out around her face. I really loved Olivia's headpiece - reminded me of the headpiece our gorgeous Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte wore to King Charles Coronation. All in all, the new Duchess of Westminster looked STUNNING on her wedding day.

Duchess Dog Biscuits' hair on her wedding day was an insult. She wanted that "I just got out of bed after having sex" look. It was a insult to everyone: HMTQ and the Royal Family, wedding guests, and those of us watching on tv. Guests attending a wedding make the effort to look their best. Duchess Dog Buscuits' deliberate choice of a messy hair style was a giant FU to all of us. For me, it was a worst choice than her dress.

She ( OH) is a very classic-style young lady, and this dress, while not the most modern, is very classic and elegant and suits her personality. I dont think she is the trend chaser and chose this dress for elegance, taste and history for the family. She looked amazing!

I think that Meg chose the biggest possible veil because her Majesty questioned whether she should be wearing a veil at all, as it wasn't her 1st wedding. Similarly the whitest òf white dresses, because traditionally a 2nd time bride doesn't wear 'virginal' white. During her brief stint as a royal she weaponised her wardrobe. Remember the drab olive dress at the blue themed christening? The green lantern outfit at the red, white and blue themed Commonwealth service? Those choices were no gauche mistakes, she was deliberately thumbing her nose at the Royal family.

Olivia looked so happy, while Meg looked smug.

Olivia's dress looked classy and glamorous. Meghan Markles dress looked like it came off the rack!

One of a co-worker's sons just got married last week, and his bride is a chunky little sausage who just had to wear one of those ubiquitous strapless, form-compressing, mermaid-skirted dresses. It covered her up well enough for what it was, but it was so tight you hoped she didn't have to sit down or bend over in it. (pop-pop-pop-BOOM! -- bits of white dress shrapnel flying all over the place ...) It seems to be part of a mass psychosis among brides-to-be who see a dress on a model in a photo or video, and then believe the dress will transform them to look like the model. Ok, I’ll weigh in on this one! I agree that Olivia’s make up and hairstyle with the tiara were on point! Overall, I don’t care for her dress, though it did look much prettier in some photos more than some others. My absolute pet peeve are the shoes. I feel they should’ve been a lighter shade of blue, and something about the big awkward bows on the fronts paired with the block heels is a big no for me. She looked like she was really “truckin’ along in those, and it took away from her overall delicate look.

Agree with you 100%. Don’t like the shoes at all. If she wanted to wear blue shoes -- a pale ice 🧊 blue silk would have worked. But I really think a white shoe is more appropriate for such an important day. IMHO. The only thing I liked about the ensemble was the veil and tiara.

I agree Olivia's dress was beautiful. With such a public / society wedding with disruption to the city, the family have had ties with Chester for generations, and still does, with the wedding on local news, as long as it is respectful to the Bride and all involved , then people should be allowed to express an opinion. Brides and their choices, have been talked about within their own families and friends for generations. The difference with us everyday folk, it's not on social media, news etc. Weddings have become more extravagant. It is a money making business. Influenced by celebrities and reality stars. Now , there is a change, with simpler Weddings, without the need for the general public to compete. It's the marriage ultimately, not one day.... Blessings.

She looked like she was in a full body plaster cast on her wedding day and Harry looked effeminate in his black ruffled tunic 🤭 and that was the uniform he fought with Her Majesty to wear, a sign of things to come me thinks 😉

Between the two brides - one of Olivia's most stunning things is the joyous smile on her face. She was beaming. Can't say the same for you know who.

The largest difference, imo, between the two women had nothing to do with the dress. Its their facial expressions. Olivia looks happy to be a bride, has true smiles and love for the Duke. MM only looks conniving and calculated. No looks of joy or happiness, only cold grins of having eaten the canary. Truly sad and polar opposite of Olivia.

A bride whose dress doesn't look like it's fit for a bordello is pretty refreshing.

Eugenie, unfortunately, doesn’t have the greatest taste in clothing.

Some people commented on the blue shoes. I thought they were a great choice and the block heels worked well as there were lots of photos of them walking down the lawn amid the guests. If her shoes were stilettos she would have had difficulty walking on the soft ground.❤

I thought the shoes looked a bit clumpy alongside the more delicate material of the dress. However, I also thought 'Good for you - you've done what you wanted for your wedding and look really happy - job done.' I wish you both very well.

EUGEN dress was awful, NOT a summer color, and she should have matched the hat- to the dress _ she never got it right. bless her heart

I know. What is it about Eugene and Beatrice; they just never seem to tick the box? They come across as middle aged, to me and they aren’t! The BEST they’ve ever looked, were their wedding days. They were knock out, drop dead gorgeous, and their gowns were Perfection! From then on though…..

@@juliemaiifanai8365 She looked FABULOUS a week or two ago at Cannes, but it wasn’t a look she presents on a regular basis. Agree with you on the fashion sense, they seem to have inherited from their Mom. I realize Princess Catherine and her sister Pippa have storehouses of wealth and whatever stylist they desire, yet they still seem to track after their Mom who has always had an unassuming yet elegant fashion sense. To me, they and their brother James, were raised so beautifully.

I don't see why every wedding dress has to fit "like a glove." I love the vintage slip like dresses. Elegant and beautiful. I feel this dress is reminiscent of one of those.

I think the shoes might have worked if she had had some blue in her bouquet.

​@@janparish8055I saw pink, lavender, and white, but no blue. She needed a definite echo of the same color blue. That said, the English have a much different sense of color than most American women. I've been observing their use of color for decades, and it really is different. They put colors together and patterns together that look clashing to American eyes.

Olivia’s dress was gorgeous, I really loved it. She looked stunning. I loved her quirky shoes! The fabric choice was spot on, it didn’t crease at all. This was a master class in how to do a high society bridal gown 👌🏻

They were saying the couple did give free ice-cream for everyone in the city to celebrate their union. Also the bouquet, all the flowers were from their home (castle)

The house is big, but it's not a castle. I've visited the gardens, they used to be open a few days a year for charity. That was when his Father was alive, don't know about now.

The dress and that veil were LOVELY. LOVED the. blue shoes !!!!!! Make up and hair were perfect! The bride was beautiful. The groom was handsome. THEY look in love!!!!! THAT WIND WAS CHALLENGING !!!!!! Lovely wedding outfits for all!!!!!!!!

I loved Olivia's bridal outfit, the gorgeous blue shoes were fab. She chose a vintage look with lace based on an antique design from her family and the antique Grosvenor family Faberge tiara. As she was getting married in Chester cathedral, it suited the occasion and her slim figure. Perfection.

I do not like E taste in clothes

Everybody looked so happy and relaxed at Olivia’s wedding. Such a huge contrast to the M spectacle.

The shoes, I just don't know what to do with them.

The blue of the shoes didn't bother me, but would have preferred a more dainty style to them. For me the style didn't match the delicate style of the dress and veil. Eugene's dress does nothing for her body type, also not a fan of the color.

I didn’t like the wedding dress based on a photo I saw of it from the back, but I felt more positively about the dress when I saw a few different angles. It’s a nice dress: Understated, reserved, classic & mature. The shoes were too clunky for the dress IMO

The shoes were so wrong! The heavy velvet with that satin dress? In the fall or winter the shoes might have worked.

I think she looked lovely. I love that a woman in her position still included tradition in a fun whimsical, romantic, loving way. I wish them well. Thank you for the video.

I feel for Eugenie because I feel we have a lot of the same body issues. Although I do wonder if at that level of buying clothes you think they’d chuck in a stylist to advise on undergarments hair and accessories being as the clothes will be scrutinised over the globe

She grew up around women who were fashion experts. She and her sister always chose odd colours and hats for others weddings. Now Beatrice has a husband who doesn't let her go about looking malicious or unkempt. Eugenie needs to look in a mirror, think, and who wears moss green like a fall dress to a Sumner wedding?

She looked beautiful, a classic English bride. Every single element suited her, the updo showed off the family tiara beautifully, and the nod to her great grandmother was a lovely touch. It obviously made her happy.

Eugenie looked...awful...just didn't look right on her. The black dress she wore for the reception suited her much better.

Round shoulders need to be squared-off a bit, and her short torso needs to be lengthened. I always think ‘overly-proud frump’ when I see her. Not nice, I know. But I think the hats that she and her sister wore at Princess Catherine’s wedding that emphasized their royal status -with blue peacock feathers and a royal shield (that others saw as a toiled seat) - has stuck. They did things like that often back then. Identifying ‘the real and rising’ royals with unflattering behaviors. Mean

The dress was pretty, the veil incredibly beautiful, the shoes were not good.

As long as the Bride was happy, that’s all that matters for goodness sake.

The fit around the bust would have been better if there had been some illusion net across the back as a layer beneath the cut-out. I understand her wanting the open back, it looked lovely, but no-one would have noticed that slight compromise for a better bust fit. To be really nit-picky - I don't like the choice of lace at the cuffs. The lace scalloping around the neckline complemented the lace around the edge of the veil. The lace at the cuffs is a totally different style & pattern which doesn't co-ordinate with anything.

Hate those chunky shoes, but LOVE the blustery, windy photos. 🥰

I think Olivia looks stunning. The color of the gown is perfect, not too white. I love the scalloped neckline, but I felt the fit across the chest was a bit weird. The waist band was very flattering. The fabric was much more flowing than Meghan's stiff dress. The veil was perfection. I believe the embroidery on Meghan's veil could have been done in such a way that would have made it shorter and more appropriate for her gown. Olivia looked beautiful! I was not a fan of Eugenie's dress because of the color. I think a different color and smaller size would fit her better.

Seeing these 2 women side by side coming out of their church's, Olivia had a huge, happy smile on her face, while Megan Markle had her fake grin and evil set eyes on her face. One bride looked glowing while the other bride was showing her signature look of "Everyone look at me"!😏🇺🇲

I've always thought that Ms. Markle's gown was made from the wrong material and that's why it doesn't fit well. It looks very stiff and heavy, like duck cloth.

Eugenie's dress is a very unforgiving style and fabric. Those of us who aren't tall and thin are better served by something less severe.

Looks like Eugenie took a page out of MM's playbook for dressing.

M's dress looks like a Polly Pocket dress. As if it would stand upright by itself and with slightly outstretched arms.

I really, really like the bride's dress. Far from frumpy, IMO. The blue shoes added a unique and fun detail to the look. Good for her to be willing to be herself!!! ❤

Olivia looked beautiful. I would have asked for the scallops to repeat at the hemline or train. I also thought a stiffer or smoother lining would have stopped the clinging of the fabric to her legs & that an understructure to the front of the bodice would have made the fit more flattering. Love the veil and the open back. I love the blue shoes, though I might have picked a lighter blue in a more delicate style. Overall, she looked marvelous! ❤

I thought the blue shoes were a fun choice! I predict that in weddings going forward many brides will add blue in fun and prominent ways. I love the shoes’ heels too! Smart bride to not be teetering around on thin heels!

Olivia's dress had a hint of vintage, a softness from the past.

Every time I see Eugenie’s dress I like it less.

Markle dissed her wedding as a public spectacle because she needs to diminish the huge effort the BRF made for her and Harry to suit her “they are racist” agenda. Her tiara, dress and celebrations were way more expensive than the then Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, heirs apparent to the British throne. Markle is pretending that she was forced to have the wedding as admitting that she received everything and more she requested would contradict her lies about being unwelcome in the BRF. Markle made everyone’s life hell to get the wedding she wanted. Kicked her father and family out and filled the halls with celebs she didn’t know. Who but a grifting greedy manipulator does that?

Olivia’s dress was lovely. The couple looked ecstatic!

Her dress was somehow transformed in the black and white photos , it became architectural ! I mean in her official photos

It's very hard to please everyone on your wedding day. But I think the one thing we need to remember. It's the bridesday's it's her day to shine and show how she feels inside to outside.. I think her dress was simplistic but beautiful. I don't know what some were thinking that she had to come in with the large ball gown type princess Diana dress. I like it, it's very simple very chic and very romantic. The shoes I think were awesome. It shows a fun Kiki side to the bride. Also, her bridesmaids wore the same shade of blue shoes which made that a fun thing. I liked it, but more importantly, the bride loved it. That's what's important not all the rest of our opinions

@tundrawomansays694 You know I happen to agree with you. Add the time everybody was going on about her huge Cinderella dress. I thought it looked horrible. It was so wrinkled so huge. It had so much lace and ruffles and poofinus. It was just one big marshmallow explosion. I know it was the 80s and let's face it. Some of the styles from that error were just Horrible. But her wedding dress is not even classically beautiful. It's just a big poofy marshmallow. I loved Catherine's dress but also princess Eugene. Both were classically elegant sophisticated and beautiful

whole lot better than Meg's!!! my parents were married in 1945... my mother's dress had a 6 yard of satin in her train, and her headband was made of wax orange blossoms. i still have the gown and a few orange blossoms.

I think the new Duchess of Westminster looked elegant, and classy. Unliked the trashy markel .

I love the blue shoes. It gives off her personality. Without knowing anything about her, the shoes give fun girl who makes her own mark while also showing she loves & respects family & tradition. She seems like a young lady who would’ve made a great addition to the royal family.

I’m going to guess that the lovely Olivia has friends, treated her modiste with respect and took constructive criticism. The Montecito Mediocrity watched the Little Mermaid and decided that for her wedding to her Prince she was going to channel Ursula.
