Great discussion guys. I know Brian mostly for the KZread channel Trailers From Hell. I will definitely check more of his work on Tubi.

Glad you enjoyed! The Man from Hong Kong and Turkey Shoot are great places to start with his work.

Brian's advice works in all parts of your life ... "relationships are important in this business" and "people have long memories" ... great advice for everyone no matter what they are doing!

Great interview, and it's always the guys who aren't the A listers who have the interesting things to say.

Hell yeah. He's such a pro with so many incredible credits to his name. This was my Christmas present getting to speak with him.

I do say Brian-Trenchard Smith is the Steven Spielberg and Alfred Hitchcock of Australia cinema in the 70s and 80s.
