I was crying, like a baby, when I heard Brian May say that. He is a caring, and loving friend, and "brother". He is too polite to be a rock star. Some rock stars can be arrogant, but Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon were not arrogant, only when they were asked about Freddie Mercury's illness, and sexuality.

That's why I love Queen, they are family, after 50 years. Not many bands can say that, they are family after 50 years. If Freddie Mercury was alive today, he would be very proud of Brian May's heartfelt speech. He always spoke very fondly of Freddie Mercury's family, before Freddie Mercury's mum died.

Idk what it is but when he said “look who i found” I got the chills. Him holding up that picture gives you the feeling of Freddie as a legend. And there is no doubt that he was. And the pictures are showing his best moments and just reminds us all how this world lost such an enormous amazing sole and will never be replaced

I appreciate Brian May more than he will ever know. Queen has been my favorite band since I first heard Queen II. Queen II is still my favorite album, but in any case when Brian signs off and states, "God Bless" and I am not putting words into his mouth, but I am purporting that another physicist (Ph.D May) asserts there is a creative being that has wonderfully made the heavens and the earth! I am from Sweden Brian and I grew up with you listening when i was about 12 years old. Back then in the 70's and 80's when you released a new album in UK i couldn't get the record until one week later in Sweden. But i find a way to hear your new songs. With very fine adjustments i could tune in radio Luxembourg and hear you. Crazy little thing called love was one i really remember i did hear this way on radio Luxembourg. Queen are legendary. Freddie is not. He is one person, a part of a group. Just because he was the front man, people worship him like God, while Brian not only wrote wonderful songs but could play ANY instrument, and even built his own guitar. HE is a musician, and John was a musician. Roger was well, Roger. It had to peeve them that Freddie got all the adoration and the "Queen is Freddie" bs.

The day after Freddie died, I was driving in my car when they announced it on the radio. I was so shocked I had to pull over to the side for a minute. Same here, I remember where I was exactly , I pulled over on an overpass near my house and proceeded to lose my shit. I knew Freddie was ill but it still hurt me so much because how much I love Queen Music.... He is irreplaceable and will ALWAYS be loved by us all !

I remember the day that, Freddie Mercury died. I was 8 years old, in 1991. I was at my good school friend's birthday party, and a relative of my good school friend's put the Television on, whilst the children, and that's including me, were playing party games. Then, the early evening news came on, and it was announced that, Freddie Mercury died. I was crying, like a baby, because Queen, and Freddie Mercury are my favourite band, and singer.

If I had 3 wishes free by a good fairy, I would redeem one to see a Queen concert with Freddie Mercury. 🧚‍♀️✨

My daughter came up to me and asked why I was crying. I was not able to explain it to her in a better way then by telling her that it is because the person who sings this song is dead. She looked at the screen and saw the face of Freddie. Then she told me “ Mom, come down, he is alive, you don’t understand, I saw him singing the concert on your phone yesterday. Gone for so long but missed forever. We were, indeed, lucky to be part of the life of one Freddie Mercury!

We all miss him Brian. We will never forget the magic you guys made together. I was at Live Aid 85. It was the greatest show I ever saw to this day. When you guys came out and gave that incredible performance. 72 thousand plus people left that stadium queen fans. I often watch that show on youtube. I share your Birthday Brian. July 19th. So every year I raise a glass to you and queen on my birthday. Stay positive Brian. Queens fans will never forget those magical times.

Freddie will always in my mind be young and handsome ❤️ I can’t even imagine what he’d look like in his 70’s, no doubt at all that he’d still look fabulous. Love you Brian ❤️

We will all remember and love Freddie from afar. He had some very special friends on earth. Happy Happy Birthday Freddie Mercury! Thank you Brian for the post. xx

Wherever he is, it won’t be boring! And how blessed we all were to have the experience of four extraordinary human beings, each as brilliant as the other, all being in the same place at the same time and forming this band. Queen were to the ‘70’s what the Beatles were to the ‘60’s..just incredible good fortune for music lovers everywhere.

Brian, Roger, John and Freddie made the best of the time they had together. Their music is the fruit of that collaboration for us. No one is gone so long as they are remembered, and for as long as their music is enjoyed and played, the works of Queen will live among us.
