Hi Queenredspecial, Since read the Red Special book from cover to cover the first thing I noticed was that the tremolo wasn't right, and then I noticed that the little bearings that Brian inventedto limit string friction (and that go flying around the stage when he breaks a string) were not there. Near as I can tell that is a 700lb BMG Special, and the next day Brian acknowledged that Red is not with him during this Isolation, and he has no good way to get it. I later saw a picture on line of a rack of guitars Brian has. Must have been 40 of the BMG Specials, not even the more expensive 2200lb BMG Super. If you haven't been to the Brian May Guitar site you'd probably want to go there to see all of the options that are out there.

Yes, Brian... we do want to be tutored. Your songs, melodies, riffs & solos are my generation's classical music and are as important to us as anything Bach, Beethoven or Mozart wrote. I wish all the great musicians and songwriters would use this fantastic tool ( the Internet) to write and transcribe _Correctly_ all their music for future generations to enjoy... but more importantly so that it is remembered and played as it was originally written.

I clearly remember the 1st time I heard this song - it was one the most memorable musical discoveries of my life!! The song wasn't new, of course; but every "new" Queen song in my life was a landmark. Thanks so much for bringing back so many memories, Dr. May! 🙏🏼

Keep yourself alive was one of the first songs I ever heard from Queen way back in 1973/4 when I bought the first Queen album, been a massive fan ever since, Brian has always been my guitar idol and would love to meet him.
