Also loved that momma bear 🐻 analogy. Made it really easy to understand
when you want to learn something new and good hear elders so today Brian chesky mean so much to me.. I feel wow I'm the lucky one watching this QnA.
The chances of replicating such success come down to many factors but timing and a hell of a lot of luck have been extremely important to their success. Brian seems so down to earth and humble that it' easy to discount the level of support and hustle these 3 founders had to have around them in order to really leverage the "lottery win" so to speak in their business model. What a great leader to deserve it though, great guy.

Airbnb is devastating all the cities of the world, forcing thousands of people to sleep on the streets, due the rents increases caused by Airbnb. Has anyone talked to him about this?

If the rent is increasing, why not book an airbnb which is cheaper I guess?

Did you watch the full video? He talks about it around the 1:07:19 mark.
wow, great talk!
I wanna ask one question, a real one ! I am an Airbnb host and I am living in Toronto. One of the guest who booked my place for quarantine stopped by Montreal airport border officers and given 2 option , Quarantine in Quebec province or deport. I was his only contact in the Country and he asked my help. I did. I trusted a guy whom I never met before and made a booking $600 for his 14 day quarantine stay in Montreal. This is his 2nd day of stay. I received a message from Airbnb and it says they are not supporting this reservation anymore and cancelled, without giving a reason. I am at home , you are at home , our families at home , Where are you Brian ? where is Airbnb ? Are you busy with making another dramatic video that how you care about others health ?
Long story short, very smart guy.
What language is the host speaking ? ... curiously i can understand him as well...

Well, I've done the Airb&b and I'll never do it again. It's a pig in a poke. You are buying something (usually overpriced) that you can't see in person and it's usually over represented in the advertising. They tell you all the good stuff and hide the bad stuff. And sometimes the bad stuff is REALLY bad. Much of the advertising, in my experience, is merely hype.

How dumb is this calling countries border is wrong.
He doesn't sound like all that impressive of a thinker tbh.
He doesn't strike me as anyone deeply intelligent or having profound wisdom. He's almost like a guy who's idea is so much bigger than he is. Like an accidental change agent.
Man he babbles about unrelated shit A LOT! He goes down meaningless rabbit holes that have nothing to do with air bnb like talking about traveling and painting etc. Dude, wtf??!! Stay on topic and talk about air bnb for christ sake! Talks about airports being old etc. Holy shit! Talk about lack of focus!
