This draft class reminds me of the 1988 draft when the Eagles in rds. 1 & 2 drafted TE Keith Jackson in rd. 1 and CB Eric Allen in rd. 2 .....like this draft the Eagles got 2 first rd. picks, Eric Allen had a 1st round grade on many draft boards and Allen within the next 1-2 yrs. will be in the HOF, Allen is the best Eagles all-time CB & best draft pick ever @ CB ( Troy Vincent was a FA)

It’s clear to me that they are trying to follow the San Fran model of multi faceted athletes on offense.

Other then the first 2 picks ,the rest were crapp shoots bc they kept trading . Hope next Yr is a better draft class

@@Jiggs2u2 Totally agree and I really trust his takes and he did say Eagles are different than most teams with what they had to fill. I just thought he seemed very high on the first 3 players we took prior to draft and a little more low key today. I'm sure part was us missing a chance to trade up for OG but with Stout we are in a unique spot.

@@drumtool20 I saw baldy interviewed here before the draft and he was lukewarm on Trotter just because of his size and he's not a middle linebacker.. I'm happy with the draft with the two corners .. Bradbury gone, I'm not a fan of Darius, Mr I'm protecting my body for after football slay..F him.. he can't be gone quick enough either for my liking

If fautanu was there at 22…I think the birds would have taken him…

Wilson hasn’t shown a thing since he was removed from Seattle offensive scheme. Unless they copy that scheme I don’t believe in him

@@billsir lol what are you about 5 years old? Your football knowledge is also that of a 5 year old. Elway was the last QB to win a SB after losing his first which was nearly 30 years ago. History says Hurts won't make it back as it's near impossible.

History is the past, not the present. To say he won't make it back like it's a fact sounds more superstitious than logical, which is pretty ironic since your being condescending about football knowledge. It's like believing in the Madden Curse just because a history of players on the cover did trash those years, all of a sudden means every player on the cover is gonna do trash going forward. It simply isn't a concrete perspective, because it's based on something that can easily be proven wrong with time. And with how the roster is designed, his own talent and experience, and coaching overhaul that was needed, it's short sighted to completely write them off just because of "history".

Baldy is a Eagles homer, if he says " I like it " that means it was not a good draft, he didn't elaborate much on any of the picks. I think Howie was more occupied in show his trade tricks than picking good players.

Drafts are generally a crap shoot, and they seem great at first and then half your draft picks aren't in the league after two years. I like what the eagles did cause most of their picks have a niche role that they could help fill for the team. Like we needed a back up rb, so we got one in the 5th. Our first two picks should immediately alleviate our dB room. The tall WR can help short yardage situations/red zone, plus he could be a mismatch for us on the field in certain situations. Jeremiah trotter Jr can also help fill in for our lb room and make an impact. So the potential is there for this draft room, but it'll be up to the coaches and such to put these young guys in positions to succeed.
