Музыка
Brian Anderson is a skateboarder & artist who went pro in 1998 for Toy Machine. He was named Thrasher Magazine's Skater Of The Year the following year in 1999. His skating and video parts are considered true classics amongst skateboarding lore. We speak on his past alcoholism and path to going sober, deep gratitude for life, giving back to society, what his life would have been without skateboarding, the book he is writing, his love for family and more.

If you know, you know!
BA will never not be considered one of the best. That front blunt at hubba hideout is ICONIC. As is Welcome To Hell. Great video.
Man I am amazed at how carefully he chooses his words. I will to take heed to this. I really appreciate BA for the work he has put in.
Legendary Skateboarder, great video!

Let's pray he can overcome his deviant desires 🙏
BA is one of the most stellar people on board. He had a place in New Orleans for a bit and I saw him do a kind gesture at a skatepark that nobody else picked up on at the time... he and the Girl team showed up at our park unexpectedly, did an impromptu demo, and when they were wrapping up, Brian snuck around the park to pick up garbage. I was the only person that saw him doing it, and he didn't just throw away stuff they brought, he was cleaning up like we do locally. Here's this amazing guy, a dude I've been a fan of since he first got picked up, making sure my park is cleaner than it was when he arrived, and he's not even trying to get any credit or anything. I know it sounds like nothing, but it really hit me as to how truly good he is as a person.

That’s so awesome. I do the same thing, and always notice and admire when people care. He’s a good dude.
I'm 47 and my drinking habits and timeline so similar to this. Just got 100 days and catching this wisdom from the big BA right now I'll be doing another 100 for sure. 💥 Thanks legend .. my organs also say thanks.

Every time I see Brian, he is always a stand up dude! Amazing video
Not just a great skater, but one of the most insightful/mature people on earth.
This dude was and still is an amazing skater. Big dudes skate hard
I just finished reading "Wires Crossed", Ed Templeton's photo diary of many of Toy Machine's tours. Yeah, there's some stuff in there...
BA made the world a better and has touched more lives than he will ever know. A kind and brave human. I used to run into him on 16th street id be young and drunk walking around and I would never bug him long but I always had to fan out for a second on the legend.
BA is such a legend
BA is the man, always loved his heavy armed style. I found a pair of his brown Savier's at Yellow Rat Bastard NYC back in middle school, right around Yeah Right! time. very fond memory owning those 💪
Brian Anderson is Iconic. Welcome To Hell was my childhood
Brian, thank you. About to quit 42

Grew up on this guy's part in Yeah Right! That slam he takes in the beginning still makes me shiver 🥶
To hear him say he felt safe on a skate tour in the 90s was enough to make me choke up for a second. I know it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, no pun intended, for him to be closeted in skateboarding, but at least he was in an environment where he could say he felt safe. I don’t identify as gay but i don’t know that i totally identify as straight either, per se… and i definitely have never felt like i fit in most places in general, especially where everyone’s just getting fucked up and saying homophobic, misogynistic or just straight up dumb shit. So props to people in skateboarding who are making some kind of space for people who are different!
Much love to BA. He’s such a great skater and all around good guy.
BA is so cool

Tre Flip at 7:18 is glorious

Yeah sadly not all of us get to get old. I was just thinking today of the dead friends I keep in my phone, even when that goes there are are still parts of them that will always be with me. I guess in any case we just gotta make the most of it.
