To understand it, let’s say New York State left USA free trade area, it will be isolated, there will be no inwards investment as population of say for instance 20million cannot thrive on its own, it needs to rely on trade, the trading bodies will set up office in New York City to trade with the rest of USA, which is a potential consumer base of 340million altogether, now other parts of USA would want to trade in the rest of USA and New York states 20million consumer base, with a potential of 9million customers in New York City, they setup office in the buildings, which then employ people, and those people are helped by having a job and that enables the city to thrive for renting property and landlords benefit, and banks will benefit by potential home buyers, that’s how New York City and London became powerful financial markets, banks won’t setup office if they arenot benefitting in trade within the cities that have low populous, and would only setup office if trade with the whole country or continent can help its profits thrive, which enables cities to prosper and people earn a wage, which then feeds the economy for transportation to work and back, also more people move into cities with opportunities, this allows banks to thrive more, because people will seek mortgages to move in... EU is a market of 400million consumers, if brexit happens why should banks setup office in London to trade with EU with tariffs, and only trade with 65million consumers in U.K. against EU consumer base of 400million, doesn’t make business sense, it will be costly, for instance shipping products from offshore from USA costs more to U.K. consumers and is free from EU region, due to free trade movement, now banks that trade in London will not benefit trading in U.K. or will lose out from 400million consumers of EU, and whilst trading in U.K. with 65million consumers, businesses never thrive in smaller populated areas, exactly why India/China are thriving in large consumer bases due to their populations, and creating countless millionaires and billionaires, also in large consumer base their will be handful of skilled people, like India’s 5% population from 1.3billion is skilled and is bigger than U.K. population in numbers, they can help fill doctors jobs or engineers which will help their countries thrive... But the biggest disadvantage is, that if they stay within EU, many countries that have free movement within its borders of European Union, can easily access another country by living and working there, many people see Britain as an attractive country to migrate to, thus moving here freely due to free movement, they are entitled to welfare as EU free trade agreement and also mass migration reduces living standards, because the more London sees migrants arriving the more expensive the city gets, as a result the city also has to tackle problems with crowding like road traffic, local transport being clogged, also more populated areas end up becoming dirty, and also at some point ghettoised, and which can also lead to crime and antisocial behaviour, if free movement wasnot the case, wages will also go up to encourage people to fill up vacancies, which is why british wages are low due to free movement, house prices are going up as a demand for housing, look at Denmark, less populated, high living standards and high wages, disadvantages it isn’t a big economy

Staying would have given the UK benefits like trade deals with other European countries, while leaving gives benefits like the ability for the UK to dictate things like their own immigration. I'm American. I'm not fully clear in the details, but it seems like it will result in a smaller economy for the UK but with the benefit of more freedom and representative government for Brits

@ First of all, The Uk has opted out of Schengen so therefore there is already an actual border between the UK and EU, not to mention that the English Channel acts as a natural border. Immigrants wanting to get from France to Belgium could theoretically just cross driving at 120 Km/h on the highway. Yes Britain might have experienced entry of a few thousand migrants but compared to hundreds of thousands in Schengen members that is not relevant. EU citizens working in the UK due to freedom of movement have already been leaving the UK as long-term EU membership has improved the situation in countries like Poland, so moving to the UK isn't usually beneficial anymore for them. Also yes the UK pays money into the EU budget but it is a lot less than it should be. This huge discount where the UK contributes BIllions less to the EU budget was negotiated by Margeret Thatcher. The UK is a net contributer but also gets Billions of its contributions back through EU programmes like CAP direct payments to farmers, investments in declining industrial areas and ERASMUS+ funding. Also the EU's taxation system of is very limited and taxation is mostly the responsibility of the member states. Th EU only forces member states to have certain types of taxes such as VAT because the single market requires some degree of common taxation policy for stability. Also you do realise that after the withdrawel agreement is accepted in British Parliament there will still be many years of negotiations with the EU? The EU negotiators have already announced they are ready to start the negotiations for the Future EU-UK relationship when the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement is passed, i.e. now we can all enjoy the next 10-15 years of Brexit Negotiations in order to get Brexit Done :)

As a 36 year old who generally gets the idea but has no idea what the long-term consequences will be I am not really any wiser from watching this video. Still, it covers the topic reasonably well and without bias. I am pretty sure that everything will generally go along the same as far as daily life is concerned, all this stuff will soon be nothing but history like when Henry VIII left the Roman Church. It won't change the lives of us much unless there is some real disaster like it sparks a war or something (which is incredibly unlikely).

Lorna Jackson Well, my advice would be to look at the way the EU works and to always acknowledge facts. This is my take on it. Every remain argument I've seen is all about economics and misses the essential point on our independence. I dislike the way the EU is, the way it is run, the way the Council and Commission are unelected, the way the MEP's are elected, i.e. where I can't vote for a particular MEP, only the party they represent. I don't like the EU's aim to become a United States of Europe and all that entails. I don't like the way MEP's voted against having to justify their expenses claims. (British MP's being in the same boat I have to say - why is it that only Labour MPs, four of them, have been found guilty of expenses fraud? But there were two Conservative peers also I have to say but at least these these six crooks were prosecuted and all were sent to jail - message sent!) I don't like the way the MEP's when voting in the election of the EU Commission President only have two boxes which can be ticked on their ballot paper, there isn't a box for them to vote against, only "in favour" or "abstain". I don't like the waste of money with the travelling circus relocating from Brussels to Strasbourg every month - this costs around 200 million euros every year! I don't like the fact that if a certain number of abstentions were to occur after two rounds of voting, the EU would install the candidate as President anyway, totally disregarding the MEP's and the people. (This has never happened as far as I'm aware but it could.) I don't like the fact that the EU can, over the coming years, change things for the member countries in a way that I don't have a say in. I don't like the fact that the top man, Juncker made certain statements over the years which showed him as a conniving liar - see list below. I don't like the fact that Merkel's party somehow imposed a policy of allowing millions of economic migrants to cross Europe, unvetted and unchallenged and then had the EU machine tell the member countries that they must accept a certain number of these people - how come Merkel's party made this decision? I don't like the fact that the EU has been bleeding us dry for so many years. I don't like the fact that Europe has deprived the countries like Syria of so many young and fighting fit men who are, or will one day be needed to defend and help rebuild their countries. *I like the idea that I can vote against my government every 5 years, something I can't do with the EU "government".* The list is virtually endless - For all of these reasons and more, I find the whole EU set up to be undemocratic. I believe we have taken the right decision, but years too late, we should have left years ago. Re. Juncker's quotes: Juncker is on record as saying on the subject of British calls for a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty: *“Of course there will be transfers of sovereignty. But would I be intelligent to draw the attention of public opinion to this fact?”* (Google it, it can be found in many publications -- says it all to me. On Greece's economic meltdown in 2011: *_"When it becomes serious, you have to lie.”_* On EU monetary policy: *_"I'm ready to be insulted as being insufficiently democratic, but I want to be serious ... I am for secret, dark debates."_* On British calls for a referendum over the Lisbon Treaty: *_“Of course there will be transfers of sovereignty. But would I be intelligent to draw the attention of public opinion to this fact?”_* On French referendum over EU constitution: *_“If it's a Yes, we will say 'on we go', and if it's a No we will say “we continue.”_* On the introduction of the euro: *_"We decide on something, leave it lying around, and wait and see what happens. If no one kicks up a fuss, because most people don'tunderstand what has been decided, we continue step by step until there is no turning back.”_* On eurozone economic policy and democracy: *_“We all know what to do, we just don't know how to get re-elected after we've done it.”_* Google any of these quotes - they aren't made up ... this is the kind of person governing us.

anyone else wondering why our journalists and mainstream media didn't provide this and further in depth debate and analysis before the vote in 2016? looking back, there was such a lack of real factual debate hence the 300 mil nhs slogan. People voted to leave, but did they do so with a real knowledge of the impact on trade, customs checks, good Friday agreement and other issues ?

I myself changed decision a few times in the lead up to the vote. do you think though being ill informed on the EU and it's inherent corruption as displayed in its dealings with the Greece anti austerity party is better than someone being ill informed on the repercussions of a no deal or the overall effects of hard/soft brexit? so much of our daily lives will be affected my own personal belief is that a lot of the leave voters were not informed in enough detail of these repercussions. to reiterate, the eu is completely corrupt in a lot of areas and does need challenging but was the only way to do this by leaving and having potential affects on the good Friday agreement and medical imports as examples?

access to internal market without export costs for example for your banking system with 200k employees. if that falls away many will loose their job also 50% of all your exports go to europe , i've seen the figures by the pro brexit camp they included gold trade outside europe well that gold is mostly gathered in the united states gold mines. England only stores the gold for them, then when the time comes they send it abroad , only the pro brexit camp added those values to their own export figures to lure you to vote for it. Among other promises like we keep access to the internal market. Europe's answer for now is now you don't have full access to our internal markets without costs if you don't agree with rules you don't like, for example access to your job market for anyone with an european passport.

Sure, the Chequers plan sounds great from a British stand point, but none of the EU governing bodies would ever go close to a deal like that. It's completely deleterious for the EU and will only benefit the UK. Let's not forget that the UK has already been benefitted by the EU in ways that no other member state has dreamt of. At this point, the EU is tired of the UK trying to get its own way whenever they wanted. As Donald Tusk has made bleedingly clear in his instagram posts, the UK government cannot cherry-pick the deal. This is not about a deal that will suit the UK parliament, this is all about a deal that will satisfy the EU first, and then the UK, and this is purely down to the global importance of the EU as opposed to that of the UK. 27 countries take precedence over 1.

It's not though. It's what the EU already has with Switzerland. If the EU were actually committed to free trade and international cooperation they would approve it on the spot. But greedy german manufacturers and virtue signaling Globalist Academics just can't get enough of inflicting needless suffering on any proud and free thinking country.

Switzerland is part of Schengen - UK is not. Switzerland allows free movement of people - UK does not want to. Switzerland has hard custom borders - forget Supply Chains and Northern Ireland Switzerland pays contibutions to the EU budget And believe me, German manufacturers are paying a high price for Brexit. But they are willing to take a hit for the benefits of the common market.

@@MrCrashDavi the EU/Switzerland border is travsparent for people, not goods. It is also one of the most efficient for goods but still takes a lot longer than the present Channel customs. If the channel has similar delays the cues will be days long. Do you trust this bunch of incompetents to get a similar level of efficiency? I wouldn't trust some of them to run a child's lemonade stall.

Switzerland also needs to comply to alot of rules, in which they cannot participate and have a vote on! :) Doesn't sound as freedom to me. Brits should stop using Switzerland as an argument. Because that argument is completly flawed. The same goes for the Norway Argument. That country is totally different, and doesn't really depend on the EU like the UK does.

As someone who did not get to vote, it really irks me that generations like mine will have to live with decisions made without us. I would have liked to consider studying and living abroad freely without all this hassle. I might be ignorant of the nitty gritty, but people seem to be fuelled mostly by opinion and conjecture anyway. Maybe I’m just uncomfortable with change... but so much seems ambiguous now.

Yes I know it would be ludicrous to allow people to vote underage ... but we will have to live under the choices of others. I am not at all well versed with the political ramifications of brexit e.g. self governance, but the loss of free movement is, for me at least, a real and tangible loss. Just think of all the places we could have gone without a visa, compared to now 😕 the full effects of brexit will not be seen for a long time yet ... but I guess I’m not exactly knowledgable enough to give a justified opinion 😅😅😅

😅 I’m sorry I’ve offended a lot of people! I know younger generations have no place voting, and I don’t mean to argue for it. That being said, not everyone who does get the vote is so much more aware than the rest of us. I’m sure you all voted with valid reasons, I just feel that for the possible future I had considered, it might not be the best thing. When I do get the vote, I will be sure to consider all of this. 😄

I believe 16 year olds should be allowed to vote. It’s been happening in Scottish elections since before the independence referendum. And it’s being going great. Some 16 year olds have more political knowledge than 20-35 year olds

In my opinion as a German its first of all sad that you Guys will leave but the only way will be a hard brexit, at least in my opinion. You cant just pick the cherries of the EU. Because if you could pick what you would like to have or not have every Country would leave and well the EU is a democracy and there are good and bad sides to it but thats how democracy work.

Well. Keep in mind. If Britain leaves hard. And they do not suffer really bad from leaving. You may face several other countries leaving anyway. I am not sure, it is even fair to say EU is much of a democracy. At least I do not think it functions in the spirit of democracy. But whatever. Dominic Scalia 1 example, germans retire at 65 or 67 years old. Greeks retire between age of 45 and 65, with 75 percent of them before 61. where do you think the fund come from? Greece wrote false reports as it joined the EU. They shouldn’t have joined that quick, as euros made them really weak and expensive.

Alright. Well no. No exit is not going to happen because it's completely undemocratic. No deal is probably what's going to happen. Soft exit is not going to happen because the EU wants us to stay and if we don't then they'll make us pay. So a deal will not happen and anyone who thinks it will is an absolute fool. Hard exit is a no deal May's deal is basically us staying in the EU but leaving only in name. Fixit deal is a great solution. Nuking London has always been one of my greatest desires. Nobody in the UK likes London or Londoners.

@richard smith the UK wants the common market but doesn't want to pay for it. In soft Brexit, everything stays the same but the UK doesnt get a vote. They still have to pay the EU. Companies dont get fucked and more importantly, prices dont go up and jobs dont disappear. In hard brexit, you get to keep your nationalism and watch unemployment rise as companies that relied on exportation go under or move away to Ireland

The Apple Seller still relies on typically 95% of their labour coming from the EU, so No Deal/Hard Brexit isn't that great.

@DJ Jeff It seems to me that he resonates the will of the majority of the population about the EU.

Brexit will not benefit any UK company, no company only purchases or sales on the UK. There is no company that only relies on their own market, also it will mostly damage UK's economy in the long run. Open markets are what have improved our lifes and it is the historical reason why we are better off than in the past. Fighting against it will only delay any progress for Britain in the future. As for the open market and not freedom of movement, there is no way that will happen, they came together. If you like one you have to take the other one, and even if that would happen (very very highly unlikely) then either borders would be "controlled" but not really or there will be delays at the borders which will mean higher costs for items.

Better productivity, better standard of living. The EU is an example for this(towards the inside but not towards the outside), there are other ways, of course. But Britain needs to be open or it will not grow as much as the others

Open market breed specialisation in the short term but market dominance of a select few and dependancy in the long term. Look at the US or China for example. their domestic markets are free markets of high volumes of 300 mil and 2 billions people. Yet the two have really small numbers of mega corporation in any given field and the rest fighting for 1% of scrap. What stops a giant corporation from mimicking a "specialised" operation to a point that it's still legal and beat out competitor prices through economy of scale and exposure through their giant marketing apparatus? No anti-trust action has to be taken by the EU as long as 2-3 corpration from West EU dominate the Eurozone unless they do something gravely wrong. Then make it 3-4 in the short term and back to 2-3 in the long term. This is already happening in less advanced European countries in South and East Europe. They simply cant compete with West EU giants when the tariff disappear, when the expensive West EU currencies switched to the cheaper € (lower prices, effectively SUBSIDISED West Eu export and APPRECIATE other EU's products) and the regulation is homogenised (which is based on west European law, customs and level of development in the first place) Of course, not a small number of blame should be put on the complacency and corruption of their population, corporations and government. But the EU do nothing to help them prepare, prevent and when they fall into crisis, it force elitist agenda on them: austerity politic (which contract Greek's developing economy because no investment in a growing market = alternative loss) and the taking in of refugee to countries where economy and living standard are nowhere near West EU levels.

We, the British people, have shot ourselves in the foot.

Soft Brexit is more like No Brexit. So it is highly unlikely. Expect the unexpected.

Based on this video's explanation of the Chequers deal, I can see why the EU rejected it. If we are still experiencing 'harmonised' trade (for example remaining in the single market) but we are also allowed to make trade deals with other countries, we'd be able to offer the trade benefits we receive to other non-EU countries without the EU's approval. I can definitely see how this can be abused by us.

The UK has already been trading with other countries outside of EU for yrs, whilst still a member of the EU club. Didn't need to leave in order to take back sovereignty that we never lost in the first place, and didn't need to leave in order to sell, export our goods and services to other countries outside of EU. But the EU is the biggest free trade area in the world and on our doorstep

1.- Too many Eastern Europeans in the UK? The other EU members put a hold of up to 7 years on the new members' freedom of movement, precisely to stop a large migration in a short time. The UK, with Ireland and Sweden were the only ones not doing this and now a lot of British complain and blame the EU and Eastern Europeans for being here? They came here legally and invited by the UK! Blair later recognised that this decision was a mistake because they thought that the other members would follow suit removing any limits, but they did not, just as they said they would not in the previous talks. 2.- European Court of Human Right stopping deportations? It has nothing to do with the EU! That's the one stopping deportations on human rights background. 3.- Long queues of Turkish coming to the UK after joining the EU? Turkey is so far from accessing the EU that this is simply ridiculous. And other countries mentioned by those liars such as Syria or Iraq in their propaganda have not even applied and will never be able to apply. 4.- Control over borders? The UK has had complete control over non EU immigration, which has always been the largest number of people coming in, from many diverse cultures some far from our Western culture. Where was that control? The EU also offers control of that freedom of movement, up to each member to use it, as I will explain in point 7. 5.- The UK is paying more health expenses for their British immigrants in Europe than it gets from other EU countries? Easy to answer: other EU members actually have a system to claim those expenses back, which the UK still has not bothered to create. Also, British immigrants in the EU are mostly old people who require much more medical attention than the younger working European immigrants. 6.- British complaining about hearing different languages? How many of those are visitors leaving money in the UK, and how many of those actually can also speak English? The majority of British immigrants famously are unable to speak the language of the country they live in, even after decades. They simply create their little Britains and never mix with natives, as they are only interested in the weather. Absolute lack of respect and a show of hypocrisy, doing as immigrants abroad exactly what they complain about immigrants in the UK. Forget about calling yourselves "expats", just "immigrants" as any other. 7. British immigrants complaining about red tape and having to prove their means in other EU member country when they move abroad? They are treated like any other EU citizen exercising their right of movement. There has always been tools for internal immigration in the EU, but the UK never bothered to implement the Directives till very recently, and that was the UK's blame alone.

You don't mention that any "deal" must be approved by at least a reinforced majority of 21 EU countries. Any deal in which the UK is seen as "cherrypicking" (as it has been doing since 1973) will surely be rejected. As of now, a "no deal" result with the consequent chaos is most likely. Second, your repeatedly mention as an advantage of the "no deal" or "hard deal" exits the possibility to negotiate separate trade agreements with third countries. What makes you think that the UK alone can secure better deals that with the mass of the EU, it being a much stronger economy? Third, you also mention in the same argument, the advantage for UK farmes of not having EU competition and thus getting higher prices... well, the same higher prices that will have to pay the UK consumer. Fourth, and last, you don'rt even mention services, centering your argument on goods, but the UK is a massive exporter of services to the EU, most notably banking, securities and insurance, and the UK would loose the franchise to sell these services in the EU, resulting in massive high-paid job losses. So, you lighten the consequences of the "no deal" or "hard deal" exits. A biased opinion, if any. As for my opinion, the harder the exit, the better for the EU. The UK has been a drag since 1973 and the EU will be stronger without it.

Well I think that there's gonna be quite some disruption with companies that are based in the EU and have facilities in the UK and the other way around. Economically both sides will receive a hit but whilst the EU is big and can probably take it rather well, the UK is not. All this because of stupid Premierminister David Cameron that didn't even remotely want the exit but provoke changes in the EU and, of course, cherrypick even more. And of course lots of people, lots of young people especially that didn't vote because they thought that the vote could never end this way... and lots of un- and misinformed people

We run a trade deficit with most eu countries the system doesn’t work for the U.K. it highlights our weaknesses and nullifies our strengths. The system works great if you’re Germany and your strengths are manufacturing hence they’re doing the best out of the system. We fought to stop the EU being ruled by Germany liberating the entirety of Europe yet Germany took a political route and won, it’s a slap in the face for Britain. If you want to be ruled by Germany that’s fine don’t come crawling back when you want to use our military. The EU army is real and it’ll be your soldiers getting their orders from faceless people. Brexit has temporarily put a holt to the eu army plans but it’ll be mentioned again soon enough. Plus the U.K. can strike mini deals with eu countries and our trade deficit outside the eu looks much better. The people spoke and this is the answer neither can be salty about it.

I agree with your opinion.. the only thing I don't agree with is uk being a drag. The Eu would be ideal for the UK I think the only downfall is the Eu accepting any and every country and not those of equal wealth. The big picture of bringing the world together under on unity is a brilliant idea but does that not make it easier to push countries around .?? I am not all that into politics just a dumb insight

Not much fact checking: the UK didn't have to leave the EU to control immigration for example.

Duh...yes...that's the headline figure, but most of the 350M came back as EU payments for projects in the UK, like payments to UK farmers, EU projects within the UK, support for underdeveloped areas etc. Yes, the UK was paying more than it was getting in total but the UK is (WAS?) richer than the average and the difference was less than Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden etc. It;s like a crime: WHO BENEFITS from leaving the EU? Answer: the globalist/capitalist class: why (many) conservatives support it.

As we just found out, "soft Brexit" means the UK stays in the EU with none of the privileges: It has to follow the EU's laws trade rules without say in those and without being to enter trade deals with other countries, submit to the EU's courts without power of appointment, surrenders its borders - and even give up the option to leave from this "agreement". Hard Brexit seems to have been the most honest deal, after all.

@Filipe Alves There is a difference, a hard Brexit really only means no deal with regard to the main EU institutions and rulebooks (single market, customs union, ECJ, freedom of movement) but there still is a deal regarding other areas (open skies, erasmus, the Irish border etc...) No deal and a hard Brexit are close but that's not a distinction without a difference. It would also change the dynamics of post-Brexit negotiations because this Brexit deal is only the beginning of a number of deals the UK and the EU will need to agree to.

It's still not decided. you'll know during those upcoming 11 months ( Transition period )., in other words, wait for the next phase of Brexit to know what type of Brexit. EU and UK will negotiate during this 11 months what type of relationship they'll have after Brexit.

Nothing to do with Brexit whatsoever. Your holy Europe has the exact same supply chain issues as us. The issue is taxes on vehicle transport by the carbon lobby, which is hiking up taxes on transport companies and killing their ability to pay their staff.

I'm a EU citizen living in London and I just hope this doesn't turn out too bad for EU citizens living in the UK and for British citizens living in the EU. Only the softer Brexit scenario is not completely terrible, but it won't please Brexiters and it's just a lesser evil for Remainers. A hard Brexit would be disastrous, especially for the UK but also for the EU. The Northern Irish border issue is an utter mess. Either the UK scraps the Good Friday agreement or effectively they won't "take back control" of that border and then there is no point in carrying out Brexit. There isn't another way this can play out, as it would obviously be abhorrent to have a hard border between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. The Brexit vote was motivated by racism, xenophobia, and the unfounded scapegoating of immigration for Britain's problems. This needs to be stated very clearly and without reservation. The idea that the people could not have changed their minds after it has emerged that they have been systematically deceived by the Leave campaign and that a second referendum would somehow be undemocratic, when it is now absolutely clear that every possible Brexit scenario is bad, keeps poisoning this debate.

They tried to change the Constitution but they failed and went through the ilegal way and the government mismanaged the situation, that's what happens when the prime minister can't even speak properly. This new government is trying to talk about this to the catalan, but they're not winning next elections. The 51 to 49 margin alone should have been enough reason to do a second referendum. 2% could those few twenty-something who did not feel up to vote because of a hangover (or whatever) . Such enormous consequences based on such a small difference. Truly ridiculous

Spone Mr As much as I'm in favor of no Brexit at all, you really cannot have a second binding referendum on the same question. That would undermine binding referendums as a whole. We ask your opinion and if your answer doesn't suit us we will ask again (and again and again) until we get the answer we want and then we declare it your own choice. You could have a second referendum on the proposal withdrawal agreement of Raab and Barnier. Do you want this proposal or do you want a hard Brexit? That would be a sign to the UK parliament. If one of the other 27 members of the EU does not ratify the proposal it will be a hard Brexit anyway.

To answer you all at ones: I live in the Netherlands and just observe how much impact this referendum has on the U.K. I think a two-third vote would have been a better measurement . Now the U..K is split in half. But look, just because i personally think it will be a disaster, (and i am not your typical 'globalist') . If you 'the people ' find this referendum representative who am i to say otherwise? Maybe this needs to happen even if it goes wrong . At least you tried. . & if it turns out great, who knows we may join you.

Jacob Reese Shmock got what he wanted, a hard brexit with shortages of all kind, right after he transfered his fonds to the RoI. And the apple example aged especially badly, because of the end of free movement.

@@DoppelkeksLP But after that the UK leaves they no longer have to adhere to EU law so the UK still wins. And it's no just memes that the EU will be stripped of. It's the freedom of posting whatever you want online. Article 13 will just severely limit creativity and will strip the internet of what makes it so good.
