Brewing Beer - Easy American Ale

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

We brewed an American Ale the easy way, using ale yeast that doesn't require lagering. Need a beer that's low ABV, dry, and perfect for a hot summer day (like a lawnmower beer)? Then watch this video and learn how to easily brew a light and crisp beer at home. This video is perfect for new brewers and experienced brewers because we take you through all the steps you need to know. We start everything off by buying ingredients at the local homebrew shop. Emmet and Rachel take a break in the middle to taste a unique habanero pepper beer and a traditional brown ale from Ballast Point and Cigar City brewing. We end the video with an awesome timelapse of our beer fermenting. Check out the links below for a recipe, tasting video, and brewing equipment.

Crazy to see how it all started. The time laps with the fermentation with Otis as background music was mint. Congratulations on your success!

I have been a fan of your videos for a long time and recently visited Asheville. There were many great breweries, but I absolutely had to track down Taco Billy! Tacos seem to be a subtle reoccuring theme in many of your videos! Good grub!

I didn't know you were in Asheville. We go there all the time, but I've never heard of a homebrew shop called Clawhammer around there.

Brewing is as easy as just doing it. Ever make chili or spaghetti from scratch? it's about the same thing...dig in and start boiling your wort. I never did my own mash, I cheated and used concentrate. I also never measured anything but water and brewer's sugar before racking to bottle. I made sachets for my hops and adjuncts. I brewed 9% ale in plastic buckets and let that sit in the basement for 2 weeks before racking /bottling. If your airlock has never blown beer you aren't having fun. You need a larger brewing vessel.
