Now I can easily ferment TWO ten gallon batches of beer concurrently; one with this and one with the Kegmenter. Now I just need to find enough friends to help drink it all.

@@BEERNBBQBYLARRY I have been thinking about a bigger fermenter, I have numerous 5 gallon, three Spike Flex+'s, and I could really use a larger conical for the 20 gallon BrewEasy. The 20 gallon BrewEasy comes with 30 gallon pots, so a 25 gallon fermenter would handle all I could brew. I have to get these health issues remedied before I seriously look for anything more. Cheers Buddy.

I live in the south now. My neighbor has on display for close family and friends is grandpa's still. And this x2 is truly a family heirloom what a beauty. Even if I ferment in kegs. Your mission Larry if you choose to accept is to test this conical for me and others who are considering buying one. As usual this tape will self destruct in a couple of beers 🍻

Looks like a great piece of kit. My problem with all stainless steel fermenters is that they are so expensive, this one included.

Good quality gear for sure. Yes. They are indeed pricey, and the cost continue to pile up as you buy more add-ons. However, some people really like to see this sort of stuff and have the money to spend on the hobby. There is a segment of home brewers out there that are all about gadgets. I call them "Gadget Guys". Then there is another segment I call the "Frugal Fellas". I lean more toward the later, but after 22 years of brewing, it is nice to try out new stuff and new ways of doing things.

@@BEERNBBQBYLARRY Yeah I'm sure it's good in its own right and if I got one for free to play with I wouldn't say no but I don't want to pay $1000 for a 7 gal fermenter. The bigger ones are more value for money but then I would need to brew larger batches and that means even more outlays...

trying to make a switch from using a bucket to a larger fermentor. I make wine from Fruit and use a meshbag and bucket for fermentation. Would something like this work for wine too? Is there a resource I can view, as all the videos I can find use these to make beer.

The problem with a unitank for wine is that fruits need to be pressed to extract the juice which these devices don’t do. If your looking for stainless steel fermenter for wine, consider something like the Blichmann Engineering WineEasy.

@@BEERNBBQBYLARRY thanks for the direction. However, I never press my fruit. I place the fruit in a mesh bag during the furmentation process, normally 10-15 days. Once the fermentation is complete, I drian and then place into a carboy for about 30 days ish. The fruit does not get transfered to the clarification phase. Thanks for your response.

Do you think that 5 gallon batches can be fermented in this with enough contact with the jacket area to cool properly? This may be a good test for a video. I have been looking at these but it is a concern as I do mostly 5 gallon batches and some 10.
