My mom met Brett Keisel and she said he was the nicest guy she’s ever met. Plus he was a monster on the field. What more can you ask of a football player!

NAH Keisel wins it easily...
Met Brett twice. Great guy. Mean game, great personality and awesome beard.
Old school hard working lunch box kind of guy. Great football player who deserves everything he's accomplished.
He made Belichek smile, this man is a monster & legend.
LOVE that he's getting some love from the NFL. He will forever be a beloved man in Pittsburgh!
Thank You NFl Films for all the great stories over the years
Part of a great front with Casey Hampton and Aaron Smith

Hey Brett a strike indicator is just a fancy way of sayin bobber 😂😂. You and 92 always been my favorite.
Maaaaaan, I grew up south of where he went to school. Schools only missed playing by 1 division rank. Such a pleasure to know a man from my home state played for my Steelers.
Great to see the Mountain Man get some attention outside the 'burgh
I love how every team in the early 00s NFL had a whole squad of superstar athelete black dudes, guys who are 6'6" and break land speed records, drive Bentleys and wear 2 pounds of gold chains... just the most athletic, acrobatic, fastest and well-developed athletes in the sport... ....but then there was Pittsburgh who were known for having 3 cornfed, big doughy country-boy white dudes who go fishing and hunting, and wouldn't look out of place on the back of a hay baling trailer throwing hay to the cows. (Big Ben, Heath Miller, and Brett Keisel) That's just so perfect for a city like Pittsburgh. (dont get me wrong, we had our superstar athletes as well, Polamalu, Holmes, Harrison, Taylor, Ward, Clark, etc... but it's just funny that for a blue collar steel town, just 60 mins drive from coal country West Virginia, you have these three corn-fed white boys with giant beards running the team.) 🤣🤣 The Steelers 2000-2010 era defense were my favorite players to watch of all time. Between James Harrison, Troy Polamalu, and Brett "the Beard" Keisel, I dont think you could have put together a more entertaining, hard hitting, turnover forcing, and pivotal defense if you tried. I will forever admire and adore those three dudes. Heck, Polamalu's already enshrined in Canton! Love that guy. (and that's not even mentioning guys like Ike Taylor, Deshea Townsend, Woodley, Hampton, Aaorn Smith, McFadden,...just a whole defensive core of superstars... I miss that era)

Faneca also fit the cornfed big doughy country boy look (I love this description), and he also went with the beard over time. Honorable mention to the beardless Aaron Smith.

@@steelerfaninperu Fanaca was more the dying end of the late 90s Steelers. He was part of Jerome Bettis' generation. Those dudes were the foundation that the coming 2005-2011 Steelers dynasty was built upon. They had to compete against absolute titans like Emmitt Smith, Jerry Rice, Troy Aikmen, Junior Seau, Brett Favre, etc... People don't talk about the late 90s NFL enough but there were some incredible players in that era. Fanaca and Bettis were among like... the last gasp of those 90s era players.
As a Steelers fan, he's in my top 10 Favorite Steelers of All-Time!
Underrated
That’s thing about Steelers when you get drafted you gotta play special teams first
This man was heyward before him. Loved this man he was staple with Arron smith and BIG BOY Casey Hampton.
He also a great guitar maker and manufacturer
Coming up as a young Steelers Fan Brett was my fav over all the big name's Brett just was my guy.
Great story! Thanks to NFL films 🎥........
loved watching those steelers defenses hunt
He’s a goat in my book got bill b to smile
maaaan I love those stories
Hells yeah!!!
You know alllll those ladies were not happy about the clean look after that glorious beard
The interactions with brady was funny as hell and just cool to see
I have so many Fear Da Beard items. Brett is really the nicest guy, so it's not hard to wanna wear his swag.
Keisel the diesel
Ok, but why is no one talking about that 10 lb rainbow trout?
Give me a defensive line with keisel and Kyle Williams and I'd be a happy coach.
I’m related to him he’s so cool
Legendary beard!!
W beard coming from a Ravens fan
He’s like Ben Roethlisberger‘s twin
Cmon NFL Films! What happened to "Turning Point" with David Robidoux music?

They’re still making it but sadly they have had deals with various networks where they couldn’t upload to KZread anymore. So sad. I’m sure you’ve watched their other content over the years. Especially the Turning Point videos for previous Super Bowls (SB 51 for example). It’s truly their best content. It’s a shame that they aren’t able to show it on KZread for easy access. I’m a big NFL films fan but I wish they made better decisions with their content. Like posting all their A Football Life, America’s Game etc. on this channel instead of letting random KZread channels upload their content and get millions of views. I’m not sure what the business decision behind that is honestly.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE STEELERS
FEAR THE BEARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
James Harrison
He gave me his towel after the steelers played basketball against our teachers. Nice guy who drove a small pick up after the rest of the steelers showed up in hummers. He dunked on one of my teachers I couldn't stand too!
*With great beard comes great responsibility* ... and lots of crumbs.
GO STEELERS!!!!
He doesn't look the same without the beard
Belly had no idea who he was.
Bill Belichek didnt wanna laugh even though he wanted to laugh
2 months beards is crazy
