Favre had to get out of the ATL. He wasn't focused, and the night life got him. The Falcons had 2 legit starters and Favre wasn't going to play. The Falcons did him a solid by trading him to Green Bay. They knew he had talent, they were trying to save his career and thats real talk. They NEVER got the credit nationally for that humanitarian gesture. It rarely happens, but believe me Brett knows and gave the Falcons a debt of gratitude for saving jis career.

Sterling Sharpe is one of the top 5 greatest receivers of all time. Size, strength, speed, route running, ability to catch while double covered. He had it all. Only injuries kept him from being #1 and in the HOF.

imagine a WR group with Robert Brooks and Sterling Sharpe in their primes with a young Brett Favre leading them ? Throw in an Antonio Freeman ,Keith Jackson and Mark Chmura to that group and its a case of what might have been ! This was a great football team that was growing . You can see Bretts confidence grow as this game went on ! Good times back when football was still real !

Fun Fact: Only seven players from the 1992 Green Bay Packers roster would be on the Super Bowl XXXI winning team roster four years later: Brett Favre, Edgar Bennett, Robert Brooks, Frank Winters, George Koonce, LeRoy Butler, and Chris Jacke. Mark Chmura was drafted by the Packers in 1992 but was not on the roster until the following season.
