I’m a Hufflepuff and it’s said that the friendship between Slitherin and Hufflepuff is the most random yet loyal friendship out there! Brett, I knew I thought you were cool! Also the Slitherin common room is really cool the more you read about it. It has a room under the lake with an open window into the water. I always pictured it glowing with dimmed light. Lmao, I'm either a Gryffindor or ravenclaw house mostly ravenclaw house cuz of creativity, thinking out of the box and experiment different things, I like to experiment different wand combination of different wand cores and wood to make more powerful wands to use ,like yew wood , Thunderbird, basilisk etc to make powerful wands, when I took the wand test I got the elder wand cuz I had ambitious ideals like Grindelwald wanting to create a new world, cuz the elder wand if very powerful and a one in the lifetime chance to make a difference , being able to accomplish great wonders and being able to achieve great things with it lol

This is just Brett’s way of justifying taking all of her favorite quizzes again.

I know the graphics will be better on the PS5, but I'm not really much of a gamer, so I'm not going to buy a whole new gaming system for 1 game lol. But I have definitely heard great things about the PS5, so if you like to game a lot I think it will be great for you!

Bare in mind, Snape, though almost universally feared and reviled, was Dumbledores agent and most trusted friend. Sltherin's not so bad.

Snape was perfectly content leaving a newborn boy and couple tod die at Voldemorts hand and only had a change of heart because of Lili , even Dumbledore said that Snape disgusted him and when Dumbledore did say something nice about Snape , he said he should have been in Gryffindor, and let's not forget Slytherin house was perfectly content giving up Harry to Voldemort so.....

Imagine thinking of your strongest positive memory in order to summon your patronus protector then a bird pops out and scares the crap out of you. 🤣 Yeah Brett the dementors are definitely going to suck out your soul.

With the houses, you can definitely change over time, especially through and after childhood. Even Dumbledore himself told Snape “I always worry we sort too early.” thinking Snape belonged in Gryffindor now instead of Slytherin. I’ve mostly stayed true to Ravenclaw, but throughout the years I’ve gotten Slytherin a couple of times.

Yeah that used to be more meaningful. They increased the odds on rare wood wands and magical patronuses. There are shit tons of elder wood with dragons out there now.

I was absolutely astonished to get sorted into Ravenclaw. I thought for sure Hufflepuff with an outside chance at Gryffindor.

I always thought of you Brett as a Slytherin. And she got it!!!!!

My wand is a 13" Hawthorn, with a Phoenix core, so I can fill it a bit more... "This is the rarest core type. P.S. Okay, CLEARLY, I cannot continue in my complete and utter ignorance, so I just now ordered Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (the novel’s American title, for those who reside across the pond) from The Local Library. Wish me luck!

My house was Ravenclaw (as hoped, expected and in the past came up as well), with a Thestral Patronus (never heard of it before) and a wand of laurel wood with an unicorn hair, 10 inches long and surprisingly swishy flexibility. Apparently Thestrals were the animals only Luna and Harry could see, because they both witnessed and accepted the concept of death. They represent true kindness and acceptance. In the description it says: People with the Thestral Patronus are empathetic, realistic and have the ability to look at the bigger picture, making them deeply powerful. I'll take it!

I took that quiz mostly because my sister's a huge Harry Potter fan and she just wanted to see what house I would be in. I got placed in Slytherin to mine and her surprise.

No you’re more Slytherin than you know. You chose cold snakes are cold blooded, you should of picked protect them because Harry wants to protect above all, and you chose to be known for your accomplishments all Harry wants to do is help people and not take credit for it . Remember he states when they talk about what he has done he says he always had a ton of help from other people.

The patronus made me laugh and was relatable because I hate rodents and virtually have a phobia of rates and I got a shrew 😂! Her wand was almost the exact same as mine except I had elder wood.

Hufflepuff with mink patronus (I think mine should have been a dog over a cat also but 🤷‍♂️) and I got cherry wood with unicorn core 🥰🐶

Before I start watching: Brett is definitly Slytherin, she has some kind of dog as a patronus, and her wand is a holly with a unicorn hair core. I guarantee you im a bigger Harry Potter fan! I’ve seen all 8 movies 4 times! Fantastic beasts where they made Dumbledore gay don’t count.

5:30 I also got Slytherin back in 2020... as well as Dogwood/Dragon Core/12 1/2"/slightly springy wand and a Siberian cat patronus.

The tests are very strange and I did do the same one for Pottermore and through Wizarding World and got different results for the houses. I happened to be Gryffindor House after doing the Wizarding World one and got Hufflepuff for Pottermore. Also, my Patronus is the Russian Blue Cat (associated with Ravenclaw for some reason) and my wand is 13" Redwood with Dragon Core. Still fun to do.

Recently did this, and my patronus was an otter. I was confused as hell until I remembered that this past fall I started hunting for the first time (mostly deer, but also geese/ducks). My first goose hunt was with a buddy, and after an uneventful morning we saw an otter for the first time in the wild! Then, minutes later, I was able to get my first goose! So, long story short, the patronus makes sense.

I regularly flip flop between Hufflepuff and Slytherin, though I’d choose Hufflepuff because they’re more chill. I think my patronus was a terrier, and my wand was Elder wood and dragon heartstring (I’m not sure about the core, but I know it was something ridiculous)

I'm a Hufflepuff, but when I was younger I got Gryffindor on every quiz. The reason you get different houses over time is that what you value changes with your age. As a teen and young adult, I valued my courage and my boldness more than anything, but as I got into my late 20s and early 30s, now I value loyalty above all. Kindness and patience and hard work, as well. Naturally, I now get Hufflepuff on every quiz I ever take. It's just like how Harry Potter chose to be Gryffindor over Slytherin even though the Sorting Hat told him that Slytherin was a perfect fit for him, because he valued what Gryffindor stood for.

I've said this before but I don't mind sharing once again. The wider HP fanbase has what I believe to be a misunderstanding about how students are chosen for each house. They think that the traits associated with each house are traits that the members of the house possess, and are chosen based on that. However, it is my belief that it is instead whichever traits they VALUE most, not ones they possess, that determines where the Sorting Hat places them. This would answer how Hermione, the brightest witch of her age, ended up in Gryffindor instead of Ravenclaw. ("Me, books and cleverness. There are more important things. Like friendship and bravery.") Also, how Peter Pettigrew, a coward through and through, ended up in Gryffindor. He valued bravery despite not possessing it himself, hence his attaching himself to those who possessed a strong will.First the Marauders and later Voldemort. Neville Longbottom also was not initially courageous, however after being encouraged by the bravery of his friends over the years, he found in himself the traits he valued so highly in them. This also falls in line with a core moral of Harry Potter: It is not our traits or abilities that make us who we are, it is our choices.

YES, YES, YES, I fully believe and have said this too! Large majority of quizzes put me in Ravenclaw (70%), with Hufflepuff taking up that final 30%. But I would choose to be a Hufflepuff because I place much more importance on my Hufflepuff traits than I do my Ravenclaw ones. In Ravenclaw, I just...am. While in Hufflepuff, I have something to strive towards and want to be continue being worthy of.

I just took the tests. Mine were Ravenclaw with a Borzoi patronus and a wand that is Blackthorn with a Phoenix core that is 10.75 inches long and has hard flexibility. Apparently, it may take years and several dangerous situations to win the wand over...

Well, this was a fun and light-hearted change compared to normal. You should do the extended (full) quizzes you can find online that give you all possible questions for a more accurate result. I got Ravenclaw, always have. My wand was Pear wood with Unicorn Hair core, 11 and a quarter inches. And for my Patronus I got a Brown Bear. I like all the results I got. 🦅🧙🏼‍♂️🐻

Brett being in Slytherin makes complete sense as she's ambitious, determined, and resourceful. Her patronus also makes complete sense based on the description she read about the pheasant.
