And even then, Brendan wanted to give Adam his flowers back, and said some truly compelling and heartfelt things that not just resonated with me, but seemed to really make Adam reflect. Brendan is just genuine good person and friend, no matter how much time passes since "the good old times". We all hopefully have a friend like that in our lives.

I grew up watching Brendan Fraser and one day, we just didn't see him in movies and shows anymore. I'm so glad to see him getting all the love he deserves.

The way Brendan says “I loved him” in reference to Chris Farley just about made me cry. He’s one of the purest souls in the film industry. I’m glad he took the time away he needed. Because we need him back now more than ever.

Brendan Fraser is Hollywood's gem, people need Fraser to be on screen and it's so nice to see that he still has friends in the industry that can make sure he stays on screen. He's just such a likable guy!

It’s hard to understate how much of an affect these two had on me as a kid in the 90’s. They both gave me a place to escape in everyone of there movies from a very abusive home life. To see how cool they are in real life and how well they get along warms my heart

To this day, Airhead is still one of my favorite movies. Had such a huge impact on me in that I liked playing D&D and I loved hard rock music and it showed me you can be cool and love nerd stuff also.

@@alejandravargas4910 I think it had more to do with the fact he was blacklisted from Hollywood because he he turned down a higher up in hollywoods gay adavances and harassment towards him. He finally got his break back into acting on the big screen in Hollywood. I’m pretty sure it had more to do with that then the fact he was overweight at one point

@@sandyulloa3610 I first saw him in Mixed Nuts, then Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. But Wedding singer is my fav of his. Waterboy was when he was in Big Daddy and Lil Nicky and Mr Deeds. He had waves. The ones I listed are examples of his best acting and range. What I forgot was Happy People.

It’s what happens when you dedicate your life to a woman and she takes the ability to destroy your entire life and goes full throttle to detonate the bomb. The man has been through absolute hell like so many millions upon millions upon millions of men in this corrupt gynocentric justice system of ours.
Seeing Brendan in this state is so fucking heart wrenching, man.. such a wonderful, caring, talented human being, and yet here he sits so fragile, vulnerable, and seemingly half the man he once was.. and Adam is a true legend, the way he read Brendan's needs and allowed this to be a trip down memory lane for Brendan was a fine example of what it means to be a friend; sure, the spotlight may be on you, but that doesn't mean that you're always the one who needs to shine. Much love to both of these incredible human beings, I'll forever hold them both to such high esteem, and this tête-à-tête is but a minor reason why.

Fr, Mad respect to Adam Sandler for being that guy to literally bring his friends with him to fame. As you can see in all his movies etc, dude doesnt leave anyone behind.
This went by so quickly, I need hours of this stuff! 😂 Adam was so encouraging and gave Brenden the respect he absolutely deserves - and Brenden shines it right back on Adam. Wholesome, entertaining, and inspiring. I skip many One on One videos, but was quick to jump on this one when it was suggested to me, I’m so glad I did. Much love to both of these legends.

Man, I can watch this for hours. It's insane how two long-time character actors walk into a room like they're old roommates.
These guys have come a long way in their careers. I do remember seeing them both in "Airheads." Years later, they're both given high praise for their respective films, and still maintaining their friendship after all of these years. These guys are amazing actors in their own right.
I never thought in a million years I’d see Sandler and Fraser reminiscing about Airheads in 2022. Such an underrated comedy buried in the sands of time. One of best films ever to capture the spirit of metal as well.

Great movie.
There’s a really lovely bit in this, Sandler says “remember (Chris) Farley was in the movie?” and Fraser says “yes of course” but it’s the look he gives to Sandler as he says it, his look says “that was your best friend who we tragically lost, how could I forget!”. It’s subtle but so warm and genuine. Big fan of both these actors, nice to see em talking shop as old buddies

Exactly! They both seem like such kind men. I remember how annoyed Adam seemed when he did the Actor on Actor interview a few years ago with Jennifer Lawrence. She was very immature and bragged about how badly she treats her fans and how much disdain she has for them, and he seemed so taken aback by her comments and said something like “You’ve got a long way to go,” basically telling her she needs to be more humble. There is a reason people like Adam, Brendan, and Keanu Reeves are know as being some of the kindest people in Hollywood. ❤❤

People constantly say things like this about Hollywood and the entertainment industry as a whole, yet ignore the fact business in general is much the same. It's corporate culture, not Hollywood's own. I've previously worked in non-entertainment-related fields and those were every bit as awful as the film and TV business, if not actually worse. Talk to a lawyer, or a stock broker, or a medical intern for instance. But it's not even just the high end professional level; the business world sucks, no matter what part of it you're in.

Instantly teared up. You can feel the love Brendan exudes every time he speaks. It's beyond wholesome and heartwarming
I just saw “The Whale”. And it was a pretty good movie. Not exactly for me but Brendan absolutely killed it, so versatile and believable..along with a great supporting cast. Can’t wait to see more of his work. This dude deserves every bit of success that comes his way
Have always loved Adam Sandler as a human being, but my respect for him has gone through the roof. He has allowed this conversation be about Brendan Fraser’s renaissance and his incredible performance in The Whale. Brendan is the ultimate sweetheart and is one of the best actors in Hollywood.
What is truly heartening is knowing how many of Brendan's co-stars from The Rock to Adam Sandler to Elizabeth Hurley have all said how happy they are for Brendan's moment in the spotlight again, and all talking about how much of a nice guy he is.

Absolutely he’s so genuine and that’s the problem with Hollywood. They go after the ones who just a genuinely nice. They came after him easily. Sad. The people he trusted and gave him his career tried destroying him.

Love the chemistry in this inteview, which is really more of a conversation between friends. The admiriation and mutual respect and love these two have for each other comes through. Both quality human beings in my book.
This is the most comfortable and happy I’ve seen of Brendan Fraser in an interview , you can see how much joy he gets from sandler
The fact that this is a dual interview, and Adam is putting all eyes and ears on Frasier. He is such a thoughtful and kind human. He isn't selfish or self centered. He builds people up. And that's so rare these days. Respect to both men. My parents actually got inspired to name me Brenan after Brendan Frasier. So thanks for that haha

I'm so glad Brendan is making a comeback. He deserves all the love coming his way.
Thank you, Adam Sandler for giving the floor to the wonderful Brendan Fraser. He's been purposefully sidelined for too long, denied a career and unfairly painted as difficult. He's a talented and genuinely good man who is finally seeing a career resurgence. He reminds me so much of Robin Williams in his introspection, observation of people and self-deprecation. He's capable of many more Oscars, given the opportunity. Hats off to you Adam. You're amazing in your own right. You've made millions of people laugh and here you are showing your big heart.
Would love to see these two in a movie together again. All the love and support to Brendan

Can you believe me that brendan was my childhood hero? i'm 30 years old i was watching his 90' early 2000 movies religiously. He is the part of the star wars 4/5/6 star trek new generation for me.. I loved his work and he is back so i'm glad for him
Brendan Fraser is one of the quintessential actors of my childhood. The Mummy, George of the Jungle, Bedazzled, School Ties, etc. Comedic/Dramatic powerhouse and it makes me so happy to see him getting all the praise he has deserved for the past 25 years.

I have always admired both of them. Adam does not get the level of respect he deserves to how much he means for directing/creating/producing/acting. His movies are the best combination of funny/silly/lessons learned. Brendan is just a walking ball of love. I love how they both show so much love and admiration for one another and try to put the shine on eachother. Loved this.

I love how this video interview garnered 3M in a month. They just have a great friendship that spanned decades since the 90s! Love Brendan Fraser winning the award at the Critic's Choice Award for The Whale. Its only a matter of time until we see Adam win a major award and I want to watch his speech and his full circle journey. Both of these guys came a long way from where they started in this industry.

You can tell how genuinely nice and caring Brendan Fraser is. The way he said he loved Farley and how he loved the time on Air Heads with Adam and everybody. So glad he is going better and back in the spotlight

Can you talk about anything without the constant fbombs. It detracts, for me, from what he is saying. As if he is a 15 year old teen trying to sound tuff and cool.
i love the fact that Brendan wanted to talk about Punch Drunk Love. Absolutely one of my favorite Sandler movies. I think it really speaks about Fraser that he wants to talk about things that he knows mean a lot to other people and not so much what the audience "wants" to hear

Brendan Fraser was one of those good actors that fell through the cracks for no reason at all. Man has chops and a very imposing stature with just a very kind demeanor. The Mummy broke him and Hollywood kinda cast him aside for awhile because he was injured. Glad he's back. The Whale, Killers of the Flower Moon and Batgirl, all big productions with great leads and directors attached. Fraser deserves his comeback. Adam being Adam and having such kindness and it's all about friendship and fun for him. Hollywood does have it's good people. Sandler, Keanu, Tom Hanks and Fraser are the ones that balance out the egos of Hollyweird and make us love film.
Brendan is starting to look like his old self again, he looks great! I’m so stoked for him, he deserves this comeback!

@@cerberusleviath4575 he gained a lot of weight after (I could be wrong here, I haven't looked much into it) his wife divorced him and took basically everything and also he had some bad experiences in the movie industry with him being sexually assaulted and stuff, to make things worse Hollywood stopped putting him in any movies so he couldn't get back on his feet after all that so he got really depressed and gained a lot of weight. I'm so happy to see him back again

I love what everybody is doing for brendan. People who knew him well and those who worked with him in the past, made him feel welcome and reminded him that things and times may have gone by but the people are still there, you are not alone. The familiarity. That is what i get with what adam sandler is doing here.

Love the lightning round not only did adam just let brendan talk, which is amazing Im suprised to see how much brendan knows about adam. Honestly these two besides Paul Walker, and Jim Carrey they were my childhood!
